Forever captivated by the beauty and history encapsulated in the Art Institute. Not a place to visit too often as the gallery is largely full of permanent installations, but there is always some sort of special exhibition/gallery taking place when they are open. Entire building is extremely clean with staff and maps scattered around in order to make your experience more enjoyable. Many famous works that one recognizes from pop culture or past studies are able to be seen here. One of the top art museums in the world and an undeniable staple in Chicago’s history. Do not miss out on viewing everything it has to offer.

What else is left to say about this incredible museum, which houses so much of the world's amazing art and history? Even people who aren't art buffs will find something to appreciate here (or at leastsomething familiar!). My only gripe about my visit was the extremely long line for the coat check. The staff were working hard to move it along, but we still incurred about a thirty minute wait at drop-off and then again at pick-up during our March visit. Try to avoid checking anything if you can, so you can get in and enjoy the museum.

Amazing art museum that is 100% well worth the visit. It holds everything from ancient Egyptian artifacts and mummies to modern American paintings like American Gothic and Nighthawks. You can easily spend more than 3 hours here. I would highly recommend visiting.

Very good museum, almost good at everything! It's just one little thing I'd like to say is that it's too big and the instructions are not very significant ( I understand it's for the better look but I got lost and missed some beautiful moments for 3 times....). I hope they have a better touring guidance or audio guide so that I have some clues of sequels in each exhibition area.Otherwise wow!!! It's like I've never seen so many beautiful stuff performed at once place in a good way, especially the Japanese area, they tried very hard to make the ambience feeling like the Japanese vibe, super impressive. I would say the way of exhibition is better than the Met in New York City.

Amazing museum with a large collection of works from important artists. The layout is well thought out and flows from one area to the next. Though large, not overwhelming in size. If you can plan a day there you will be pleased in what you cover.

For this particular occasion we went for the Pablo Picasso exhibit. We paid $5 as Illinois residents and it is worth mentioning that the museum is free during weekdays.The building itself is admirable, very well taken care of inside and outside. All of the exhibits are being looked after as there are hundreds of art pieces on a daily basis.Whether you’re are someone who is into sculpting, painting, architecture, mosaics, or any other form of art, the Art Institute of Chicago has something to offer.Definitely looking forward for more exhibitions.

It is so famous that I had expected the exhibit to be as informative and comprehensive as the British Museum or the Metropolitan. That might be too challenging. The display in each section is lack of clear plot/storyline, by which I mean the items are like various bread slices in a basket, correlated but not unable to compose a full piece. I understand this is an art museum, so the explanation notes mainly focus on art perspective. Still, for visitors who might come from different backgrounds, the museum could have done a better job of interpretation.

This is a stunning collection of artwork from so many famous painters and sculptors. The price is a bit high ($32/adult), but children 13 and under are free. The building felt like a maze at times and there were alarms constantly going off as people stood too close to artwork. Despite those minor inconveniences, this remains one of my favorite art museums!

My first time attending as an adult, I had a much bigger appreciation for the arts now versus as a kid. It was absolutely breathtaking, and we didn't get to see everything!! We were there for 3 hours and were amazed at all the pieces located here. I would wholeheartedly come back and make it an entire day. I felt like a tourist in my own city.

An absolutely amazing art museum and a must see of Chicago. I visited on a Monday morning which had significantly less crowds than the weekends. Entry was quick and easy and I saved on tickets by using the Citipass. Keep in mind tickets for non residents are more expensive. The entry way is beautiful and it's very easy to navigate around the museum due to the signage and provided maps. I especially like that there is a list of must sees on the back of the map for those who only have a short amount of time to visit like I did. My favorite areas were probably the Impressionists and Ancient Egyptian pieces. The layout is easy to navigate and separated in distinct periods that makes sense, nothing detracts from the pieces themselves, and it's overall an amazing experience. I can't wait to revisit with plenty of time to thoroughly explore all the exhibits.As for accessibility: there were plenty of wide open spaces and wide open doors for wheelchairs/walkers/etc. to navigate through. There are handicap accessible ramps into the buildings as well as elevators to reach the different floors. Beautiful museum with an expansive collection of paintings and sculptures. You can easily spend hours here roaming the beautiful hallways and staircases. It’s free on certain days for Chicago residents so it made the experience even better. I’d recommend to check this place out when you come to Chicago.

Beautiful building filled with beautiful paintings. I especially enjoyed the Monet collection. I thought I would be taken by the lilies, but wheat piles just took me to another dimension, and i was sober, alright ;). I also liked Van Gogh and other impressionists. The collection of eastern ceramics and wall paintings was also impressive. We stopped by only for few hours, so we didn't see everything, but i definitely plan to come back ;).

This place is immense and worth every penny of the admission fee. See some highlights like American Gothic or that famous Seurat painting at the park you recognize from studying pointillism back in school. But don’t miss some hidden gems: creepy Goya etchings from 1800s Spain, the picture of Dorian Gray from the 1945 film, and a fascinating collection of miniature rooms that look ready for Stuart Little to move in. They also have a very wide range of Picasso styles collected under one roof and the impressionism section truly is a must-see!

This is one of the best museums around. I like the impressionist exhibits. Show Case Monet Renoir Manet Vincent Van Gogh also. The exhibits and paintings are so wonderful to view. Very nice experience. A must visitnif you are in Chicago. We also visited the Picasso special exhibition too.

This is one of the most iconic places to visit while in Chicago! It is amazing how smooth and reflective it is being so enormous! We went on a Monday afternoon in March, but it was still very busy. We were still able to get a few great pictures! Parking is kinda complicated at first, but not too bad. It is all underground, and there are very few signs to tell you where to go (this seems like a very common thread for Chicago). The only signs once you park just say, “Pedestrian Exit”. It is a bit of a walk, so wear good shoes.

An iconic location for Chicago visit. It’s always packed with tourist. You just have to wait your turn to get your spot. Forewarning, just pick the day without rain and pictures will turn out great. I think selfie stick is a must for this location. The park is clean and well maintained by law enforcement. Parking is challenging for sure. Recommended public transportation.

Cloud Gate, I've been calling it 'The Bean' all week.I would definitely recommend visiting this piece of art when you're in Chicago. My partner and I didn't expect much to be honest. My partner said its just a mirrored bean. But it's actually pretty cool and very large. It's great on a sunny day to see the sun's reflection along with the sky and buildings and makes for some awesome photos.Head to the Bean you won't be disappointed!

A must visit tourist attraction place. Sit and walk around for 15 minutes, take pictures and selfies. The Bean is free to visit, so you don't need to "sprout" any ticket money . Designed by an Indian architect as per Google search. The structure is big, and you can pass under it as well. Shiny!

As of Thanksgiving 2023, it is still closed to the public due to maintenance. I was told that the people from Chicago weren't thrilled with "the bean" when it was first built, but it has become an icon. I love how you can see the reflection of the city on it. You can still get a good photo if you find a good spot. It is free to the public.

The Bean is a pretty neat experience. A giant chrome coffee bean. Some days it is very crowded. The underside of the bean has some very interesting visual reflections. The absolute center has the only flat mirror portion. If you are in Chicago or plan to visit. I suggest checking it out. There is also some old buildings across the street. We liked looking at the buildings as much as the Bean.

I visited in February on a solo birthday trip, and I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed Cloud Gate. It’s how I expected, but honestly much cooler than I thought. Beautiful to watch the sun glint off the sculpture and the ice skating rink is lovely to people-watch. I went on a Saturday and arrived about 11am via the subway — it wasn’t unbearably busy or overcrowded but obviously expect other tourists to be there most of the time. I didn’t have any security check but did see them doing them later in the day. Plenty of restaurants nearby and the park itself is gorgeous. This truly is a can’t-miss!

They were doing construction, so there was a fence up around it, but you could still see the bean. Attraction is free to see. There is a lot more in that general area so there’s plenty to do. Parking is like anywhere else in the city find a garageand walk to your destination. There are public bathrooms nearby.

As being over the best architecture city in the world this sculpture makes Chicago even more beautiful.As I was studying in Chicago I visited this place many times and in all different seasons during different times of the day.Every time it looks more beautiful and every time you visit this place you'd fall in love with this again.One day I also decided in freezing winter to do small bike trip here and you might see that in one of the photos 😛. They are doing construction h til spring of 2024. If you want a good photo, come after spring. They had it fenced off and the ground around it tore up.I was able to get some photos through the fence, but there is protective padding on it too. I get needing to update things, but it was a bummer

I loved the different areas of Millennium Park. Cloud Gate was so interesting. My favorite part was inside, looking up at the middle. Downtown Chicago has so many amazing outdoor spaces. The architecture is beautiful and I love how art is sprinkled throughout the city. If you want to get pictures with less people there, you'd probably have to go very early in the morning. I was here in the middle of May, in the middle of the day, during the week and it was busy as if it were the weekend.

It's a cool park to walk through to see some cool pieces of art/sculpture. They have security art the entrance, making sure you are not bringing anything illegal in. We really wanted to see "the bean" (Cloud Gate), but it was fenced off for some maintenance. There were still tons of people trying to take pictures.

Very beautiful and chill park in general. Unfortunately the surrounding of cloud gate is under construction so I couldn't reach close. The performing space is crazy! Very strange and stunning metallic building with many many speakers hanging in the sky. Super impressive area which combines chilling vibe and sci-fi ish atmosphere around. It's so beautiful when the tress turns in yellow at Fall.

Surrounded by tall skyscrapers and Victorian palaces, the park is a very good piece of Nature in a busy metropolis. The park had some famous landmarks like the Cloud Gate (popularly known as "The Bean"), the Crown Fountain, the Millennium Monument etc.There are food stalls serving a variety of cuisines. Restroom facility is also there.Parking spaces for cars are available nearby.Art Institute of Chicago is nearby.The crowd becomes heavy on weekends and during holidays.

Even though it was closed off it was worth going. The ice-skating was fun. The whole area was very nice and a fun family activity. I will definitely go back! During Christmas time the area looks very pretty with all the lights. The price for the ice-skating is very good! For 1 hour and a half you only got to pay 16 dollars and they even have lockers to secure your stuff.The ice-skating rink provides a delightful experience for both beginners and seasoned skaters. The well-maintained ice surface ensures smooth gliding, and the facility's vibrant atmosphere adds to the overall enjoyment. Skating sessions are reasonably priced, and the rental equipment is in good condition. The staff is friendly and attentive, offering assistance to those less confident on the ice. The rink's convenient location and ample parking make it accessible, creating a perfect outing for families or friends. While the snack bar offers standard fare, it could benefit from a broader menu. Beautiful place!!! You can spent so much time taking pictures around the bean but we also enjoyed the ice skaters. It was not too cold so we could spend quite a while around. Lots of nice places close too.

The Bean was in our sights as a "must see" on this trip to Chicago. It did not disappoint. We discovered how beautiful the Millennium and outskirts of the city was as we walked for hours in shear awe. While it was raining, the umbrella kept us semi dry. The smiles, laughter and happiness of people finally being able to be out and together again, is exactly what COVID took away. It feels good. We will return.

A must visit park while in the Chicago area. It’s a close walking distance from the iconic River walk and it’s right on the Michigan Avenue, just south of the river.It’s a quiet park, considering the hustle and bustle of the downtown. The park is very well maintained and has a few entrances, controlled by security throughout. You can easily spend 2-4 hours in the park, depending on what you want to do here. There are also regular events held here at the Jay Pritzker Pavilion, one of the premier outdoor Amphitheaters, so that will have to factor in. It’s free entrance to the park itself.You will see ‘The Bean’ work of public art here. The sculpture, which is officially titled Cloud Gate, is one of the world’s largest permanent outdoor art installations, currently undergoing some construction work. Lake Michigan is just a few minutes away from this park and so is the Chicago River. If you took the hop on hop off bus tour, there is a stop at this park as well.

First visit to Chicago. It was a beautiful fall day and the weather was amazing. The natural foliage and the landscaping were breathtaking. It was so much to see and appreciate. Walking into this park centered within the city is perfection. A must see!

Lovely green Park with lots of community gathering places. The bean plaza is under renovation through March 2024. So can only see through the fence. There is a fantastic outdoor concert space. At the time of year we visited (November) the kinetic water feature between 2 large and changing digital faces had been switched off for the season. It must be great in the summer for kids to cool off and have fun.

I am in love with this park. It’s gigantic, it takes a long walk to go through all of it. It has two ice-skating rings, cool art installations, the famous bean of Chicago, parks for kids, and a stage for concerts. Those are the few things we did see at the park, because we did not have enough time to walk through all of it. I had a blast with my family, I highly recommend visiting this famous park in Chicago, where you can even get a view of the lake.

Ferris wheel was very fun. There were other carnival ride options as well. Great food options too!. Great options for boat tours. We had kids and did a quick 40 min boat tour. Overall, navy pier seems to amaze me everything I go. Been going since I was a kid and was able to share this with my kids for the first time.

We arrived as storms were rolling in, so our visit was cut short. It was still a nice area full of dining, shopping, and entertainment. We enjoyed watching the boats along Lake Michigan and taking in stunning views of the city. Finding affordable parking was a challenge.

Very nice and chill pier to take a walk or chill around. And there's a very warm court with a lot of options of foods. The restroom is also very clean, the other side is for cars parking and drop-off so I would recommend to walk around. Just go straight and come back straight would be a nicer solution.

Navy Pier is as others have mentioned a tourist trap but they do have some decent shops to try out if you are looking for something to do. If you are looking for Chicago souvenirs then this can be your spot to come as they certainly have a lot of offerings in that area. They sometimes host special events so check out their site in advance. They have some pretty good food places in here including ones that are sprinkled throughout Chicago but them all being under one roof makes it pretty nice to get a little bit of Chicago all in one. Billy Goat Tavern for lunch, Rainbow Cone for dessert, and then maybe some Garrett Popcorn mix to go for example! We ended up walking here as parking comes at a premium but if you are staying anywhere in the Magnificent Mile area it's certainly within walking distance.The wheel gives you one of the best views of the city that you'll get and with the wheel admission we got a free picture with selectable backgrounds when you visit the site so that's a cool thing that comes with the price. The VIP version comes with a glass bottom gondola if you're wanting to go with that and plush seating but we opted for the regular one. It does mention the VIP version being private but the regular experience is private too. The VIP version could be worth it to you though if you have a group as per person the price can come down. You have to buy individual tickets to get on the wheel for the regular experience, but if you get the VIP version you are buying the whole gondola so if you load up 4 people then it's really only $25/person and you get a different experience. The other rides weren't open when we visited but during the peak of the summer I imagine it's hopping!

Great place to enjoy and admire the skyline of Chicago. Navy Pier has many attractions, but the main one is the wheel which lets you observe the city from a high altitude and without any crowds. The stores inside are really good. There are plenty of restaurants of different kinds and different stores. Walking outside makes you feel why Chicago is called the Windy City.

Gorgeous place! We didn't realize how big it is, and how many shops there are!We came for the "Light up the Lake Event". It was awesome! Indoor so no worries about weather. The pier is free, but would definitely buy tickets in advance for the lights.We rode the ferris wheel and it was so much fun! The view is gorgeous!

We rode some rides and went through the fun house. Tip: one of the mirrors is a door in the mirror maze. It took us forever to get out. Lol We wanted to take a boat cruise but we want to wait for some of the smoke from Canada to go away so we can see the beautiful skyline better. When my girls were small we went to the children's museum and that was really fun. Navy Pier is a must see when visiting Chicago.

I went and visited the Navy Pier. The air was very windy and cold coming of the water. The history behind the pier is very interesting and they have historical markings everywhere to read. They have an indoor “mall” area with shops and eatery’s. At sunset the views looking back at the city skylines are pretty spectacular.

Wonderful views of Chicago. I recommend going in the morning or afternoon when it is less crowded. This is a peak place to cut out of work for. You can just sit around and think about the world and how beautiful life is. This is one of the great gems of the city of Chicago. It is a tourist trap but one you don't mind getting trapped in. Beautiful in the day time and even more beautiful at night. We visited on the weekend and it’s a place for everyone to walk, hangout, eat, relax, ride the Ferris wheel and lots to do. It gets packed and busy but fun for sure. I recommend this place.. one of the must visit in Chicago places. Fire work show was awesome as well it was not a disappointment. Was worth staying there till 10pm.

Beautiful pier--day or night. I love how it's connected to inner-city paths and walkways. There's a good variety of restaurants, bars, and shops all along the pier as well as excursions. Great place for a stroll!

This was a great time, we started as strangers and ended up as good friends. The ride even though a tourist thing to do was filled with locals. Really cute place to go! Lots to eat nearby and some beautiful places to shop. I'd recommend the app park spot for parking, $20 ramps near by. They're are usually some ships in the harbor too which are beautiful to see and take a tour of. Always something to see!

Fun spot but touristy. You get a good view of the city, especially on the Ferris wheel but it's pricey. There is often live music and always something to do. A good way to spend an afternoon with the family, I think you should go at least once but it's not really how you get to know the city. Definitely gets crowded at peak hours.

Navy Pier is really quiet in winter and beautiful, unlike other busy places in Chicago. You can walk peacefully, enjoy great views of the lake and city, and ride the Ferris wheel in a calm atmosphere. The gardens are perfect for relaxing. Other than dry cleaning my pockets, I had fun here. Would have been nice if the slot machines weren't incredibly tight like a duck's butt in water lol. Clean well laid out and very organized. Unfortunately the buffet closed awhile back, but there are a few options on the main level. Too much room dedicated to the sports book lounge that could have had slot machines in them. This limited some gaming options.

Since I didn't win any $ on the slots, it was just ok. The staff was helpful and friendly and the parking was well lit and abundant. My bf went thru $290 and I went thru $80 in about an hour.

Friendly staff, Drinks come pretty quick when you push the button at a machine. Dealers are nice and helpful if you've never played a game before. There is a large verity of machines. They also have a buffet with a really good selection of different kinds of food. I look forward to coming back and playing there again. Just next time let me win some money and not break even.

We were here for a concert and security had no idea what they were doing, three separate lines to tell you to go to a different line. Most attendees missed the opening band (Lorna Shore). Drinks are reasonable, but the slots are garbage. Go to the Hard Rock instead if you're in the area

Went to the Jeff Dunham Show and the Theater was AMAZING! Casino was awesome and loved the smoking section. Gaming and smoking a cigarette is a great experience. Lines for the food was a bit rough though seemed like they need a little help with organization. Overall neat and good experience

Horseshoe is my favorite casino! I’m not much of a gambler, but once in a while I like to come here. The drinks from the bar are wonderful! My favorite is the margarita from the bar in the back. They also have a good selection of food and their pizza is great!

As much money as I have spent this year at the Horseshoe they ought to let me win a few jackpots, lol. Other than that I love the Horseshoe. The staff is nice. They have new slot machines. They just need different food. It gets very boring eating the same thing over again. I love to eat a good meal on Sundays if I'm at the horseshoe. The buffet needs to reopen and they just need to have the food covered this time. They had the best buffet to me. There was this one particular slot attendant tho who was very rude to a guest. I'm a seven star member and the horse doesn't make you feel like one. It is impossible to get ahold of the reward desk. Every time I call , no one picks up or they hang up on me. At this point I weather send my money at the HardRock casino. There's a pretty good chance I will not return back to horseshoe.

Took in a live show at the casino. The box seats were great and the staff was very well organized. Overall it felt like a great place to see a live performance, especially if you can get seats on the upper level.

This isn't like the location I've visited in Maryland. The customer service was excellent. However, It's dark and not welcoming. The machines are old, and I'm praying my bank debit card is okay because their ATM machines were malfunctioning, multiple ones. I was so excited to visit this casino based on my visit to the other. It was quite disappointing. My party left and we went to Hard Rock Casino. We didn't win big, but it's brighter, it has newer machines, and the energy is far more exciting.

Great architectureI can't really say much about the university itself, I just came to visit to see the stunning basilica. There were actually less buildings with unique architectural elements than I was expecting. It appears that the bookstore and dorms and most general buildings are mostly square brick structures. Still worth visiting to see the Grotto, Basilica, and gold dome.

The university of notre Dame is a very beautiful campus. They have very unique landmarks and statues. It was a very nice place to walk around and get pictures. There were some very striking views to be seen around the campus.

We always enjoy our visits to the University of Notre Dame to cheer on our Fighting Irish! Excellent hospitality on this beautiful campus and the tailgating is fun and always good for making new friends! Can't wait to go back again!

I was here over the weekend on business. Decided to go for a 5k run around campus. Was absolutely beautiful. It was nice to see a campus that is kept up so nice. Great architecture as well as landscaping. If you’re in the area highly recommend take a look around!

The University of Notre Dame Campus is strikingly beautiful. The architecture of its buildings is stunning. In May the tulips around campus are beautiful to see. Souvenirs can be picked up from the bookstore. You can take in a mass at the beautiful cathedral or partake in a sporting event. It is a must see when visiting South Bend.

Gorgeous and historic campus. The grounds and buildings are beautiful. Several historic sites to visit including the Basilica, dome and library. Notre Dame stadium is also amazing! The ushers and staff were so helpful and kind. Overall great experience!

I was there today to run a Spartan Race. Three venue was awesome. I got a chance to run through the entire stadium, the football field, and some of the campus. We also got to run through the locker rooms and courtyard that had a great view of Touchdown Jesus. The Notre Dame Stadium staff was great too. Very professional. They treated the few thousands of racers, Spartan Race staff, and spectators like family. I'd definitely like to go back again soon.

Incredible campus, I felt like I was at a national park or museum. Very peaceful, we were here for a tour, my son loves the campus and school, and hopefully, he gets accepted.

In the spirit of full disclosure I am somewhat biased as I am an Alumnus. That said, this is truly one of the most unique and beautiful college campuses in the country. I love returning when in the area, and now that I am retired have more time to do so! Do yourself a favor, and put this place on your "bucket list" for places to go!

Beautiful place to take a meditative walk in the winter. Summers are for crowd lovers only. Easy flat access to beach from parking. Down the road at Tunnel Park there is a very steep decline to traverse to access the beach from the parking area.

Beautiful State park with a pier and lighthouse, nice sand dunes and beautiful long grasses cover the dunes, has a large bathroom area and changing rooms and outdoor showers, an area to watch the boats go in and out of Lake Michigan and two walking paths to help you get all of your gear out to the beach. There is a small kids park with swings and volleyball nets. Been coming here for 35 years and I still love it!

Nice state park with views, piers and a beach. The dunes were great. There is a lighthouse called "Big Red" right across the inlet you can get pictures of. We didn't stay long but enjoyed the visit.

We camped in the beach campground and had a phenomenal time. Everything was neat and tidy. The beach was 4 campsites down from ours, providing beautiful Lake Michigan Sunsets! The modern bathrooms and showers were well kept and clean. The camp host this weekend was super nice. We had a lovely time.

Plenty of parking and easy access down to the Lake from here.Lots of ice along the waterfront, so weren’t able to get too close, but it’s beautiful seeing the Lake in an icy clutch.Facilities are closed in the winter so do be prepared, and the pier is closed due to ice, but a beautiful spot.

Nice park with a fantastic location, and one of the two bath houses is really nice. The west bath house could definitely use an update, and some of the sites are a bit unlevel, so pay attention when booking for a large RV. We had an asphalt pad and still need all of our leveling wedges to get it right. Still worth visiting this park despite the few shortcomings.

Clean rooms and nice people run it.Great location.The outside needs work, but looks like it is being worked on. There is no pool or mini golf,but if you are just looking for an inexpensive place to stay,this is an option.There is a decent restaurant in the lot ,a bar and an antique store. Small fridge in the room and microwave in a common room.

This is a state park in Lake Michigan. They have 2 piers you can walk out on when the water is acting up. It was closed the day I went. The wind was blowing and the waves were coming in nice. The park was nice though we really only saw the beach and pier area. They have a cool lighthouse and a plaque explaining the history of the lighthouse. The park seemed well kept and clean and the scenery was awesome. There was a playground area for the kids. If you like being outside, around the water and beach, this was a beautiful place to visit. I would recommend going and checking it out if you are in the area. It would be amazing in the summer for summer fun too.

Great trail on the shorter side. Can be steep at the beginning and end but other than that, it's a nice hike with a lovely view of lake Michigan, the red lighthouse and the sand dunes.The campground itself is pretty tight quarters. Not many trees, so I wouldn't count on using hammocks.It seems like primarily an rv park.It does have bathrooms and showers in the center of the campground.

Campground is a parking lot but right at the beach. No fire pits but you can bring your own. Family friendly. Verizon service decent. You have to pay to park still even with reservation

If you like the beach, especially if you've never been to a freshwater coast, this is a great place to start. It offers a little something for everyone. There is a nice beach that is kept very clean.

We enjoyed being close to the beach. Our E-bikes were perfect on the many bike paths around the area. Our hike had a beautiful Overlook as a reward, Our campsite was nice, but was next to the main road for the beach. Noisy motor heads had the only disappoint. Nice two day stay.

Location, location, location! For reference, my husband & I stayed 4 nights in July 2023 in our 40 ft motorhome. The park is in a premium location and walking/biking distance to the beach, restaurants & shopping. We rented bikes from Oak Grove Campground for 2 days and loved riding around the beautiful town. The big red lighthouse is a short walk from the park and a great place to watch the sunset. The sites are decently spaced apart and level. If you’re lucky enough, they have some full hookup sites. We were in corner spot #159 (50 amp hookup only). Things to know: cell service was good, there are a lot of tent campers and families with small kids, the park is strict on their noise policy and does night patrols. If you’re ever in the area, I highly recommend this campground.

Ok, let me get this out of the way. The check-in process was a nightmare. You weren’t allowed to check in before 3pm and we unfortunately arrived at 2 so we were made to wait. We decided to wander for an hour since we couldn’t wait in the parking lot. Returned at 3 and the line to get in was unbelievable. It took over half an hour.Anyway, the campground was great. Bathrooms and shower rooms were fantastic. Very clean and taken care of. The sites were a bit close together but actually it was surprisingly quiet. Once we saw how packed it was we thought it was going to be a mess, but we had a very nice stay. We would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

Sites were pretty wooded, and shaded. Beach sites were close but not crowded and had easy beach access. The beach, ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. Water was warm, it was all sand, and super shallow. Even like 25 feet away from shore and it was maybe 4 feet deep. All time favorite Michigan beach.

Great campground with a short drive to the beach, which is beautiful!I did want to mention one thing that affected our "camping party"; we had read you could check in early if your campsite was vacant.**This is not true anymore** at this campground in Holland Michigan anyway.*Check in is at 3. No exceptions - even if your site is free.

Nice State Park campground. We stayed in the wooded half, not the beach. There were nice shade trees over half the campground and the bathroom and showers in that half was very nice! They were holding a Halloween event with campsite decorating contest, coffee and donuts, and trick or treating for the kids, also. There is a LOT of road noise audible in the campground, so it's not the quietest option.

What a GREAT music venue! 1500 seats, and not a bad one in the place. The sound system was finely tweaked, and was not muddy or overly loud. There was a full house to see Brothers of the Heart, and everyone enjoyed the full 2-hour show. The quartet stayed around and greeted everyone who wanted a picture or autograph- a big plus that larger venues usually don't accommodate. There's lots of paved parking and hotel rooms nearby, so we walked from our hotel to the concert. We highly recommend enjoying a show here!

We cannot get enough of this place. A gem in such a small, beautiful and peaceful community. Fabulous shows playing 3-4 days every week of well known groups. We've been driving 2 1/2 hrs one way almost every month for shows we want see. There are so many we want to see we can't do them all but what a great theatre to go to as there are NO bad seats at all. We just got back from seeing Gene Watson and Eagles tribute in which both were phenomenal!!! Ricky Scaggs show so good we want see him again!Blue Gate restaurant is where we eat and cannot get enough of it. It's the only place we want to eat at while visiting!!! A must go to place!

Our first dinner and a show here and we loved it! We always enjoy staying at the hotel but having a show next door was awesome! I look forward going back!

Went to see the Rush Tribute Project. The theater was great. The music was awesome. My only gripe was that now they serve alcohol. The drunks were obnoxious and constantly getting up and bothering us non-drinkers. I took my 15 year old son to the concert, and he said if they serve alcohol at the next concert, he's not going, nor will I.

Saw Clint Black here on June 30. Loved this venue! Loved looking at the country music decor, and the seats are so comfortable! I'd definitely come back for another show sometime!

Best buffet ever. It always tastes great. They have a salad bar with fresh made bread. A desert bar with numerous selections. The main course always has the best chicken. Along with mashed potatoes, veggies, sides, and several other meats. Up stairs, you need to go to their bakery and load up on tasty treats.

Ate at the buffet lunch and then saw The Christmas Candy Caper, a play.The food was delicious with many choices including a salad bar with soup, a warm dish area with nain dishes and a dessert area and ice cream machine.The play lasted 90 minutes and was very interesting. It was set in an Amish candy store owned by Sadie. She loves to play practical jokes and like the boy who cried wolf, it came back to haunt her.

We visited the all-you-can eat buffet in the same building as the shows, but did not see a show. The buffet was good - but not great. Some of the advertised offerings (in our case turkey and dressing) we're missing.I certainly understand why, however, given that we were early to dine, there wasn't the usual crowd, and, even in Amish country, it's hard to find help in a pandemic.The wait staff, as always, were very kind, attentive, and gracious.

The show I went to see gets five stars. What I’m upset about is that women are NOT allowed to bring in a purse, nothing bigger than 4 x 6. Really? I need to carry certain items with me at all times, like heart meds and inhaler. They need to review this nonsensical policy.

My first time at this venue and during my visit, I saw two different shows. Very convenient to where I camped.The venue is fairly small, 1500 I read, and all seats are quite good. They do have a bag policy so check that info before going. But because it's small, it's a short walk if you do need to get to your car to leave things. Lots of guitars and hats from previous performers, a concession, too. For the 2 shows I saw, guests were alowed to bring food or drinks inside, which I thought was very nice. That way you don't miss any of the show or have a line during intermission.

Very nice venue for a concert. Good sound, screens to see the perfomer, pleasant staff. What brings the rating down is their new policy restricting even small purses. It is very inconvenient. I saw older people walking with canes back to their cars who were carrying nothing bigger than a wallet! Did something happen there??? Also, the dinner package includes dinner at the restaurant that is about a mile away. They bigger problem than the fact that dining is in a different location is the fact that they do not prioritize dinner/theater guests. So, for a 7:30 show they recommend that you get there between 11a and 5p. If you get there around 5, you will definitely have a wait.All and all......we would go here again, but it is not convenient, especially in bad weather.

Saw Marie Osmond here. Wow the stage is the perfect size & there's plenty of seating for hundreds of not a thousand.

Honestly always a beautiful place to go for a walk. Excellent area for kids to experience and learn. Little gift shop has some beautiful items. Honestly I could never understand how someone may not like this place. Whether you go by yourself to take pictures or just to clear your mind. Or you're going with a significant other for your entire family and kids. Definitely worth the experience and the money spent. Some may think ticket prices a little high however we fully understand that the ticket price doesn't just pay wages and basic upkeep that it also pays towards donations and contributions to keep this place up and running and growing. You can easily spend all day here. There are so many different things to see and experience. There is a wetland area that you can just watch the blue herons, turtles, frogs and other wildlife enjoy. There are sculptures and art galore. Beautiful landscape and flowers everywhere. Such a peaceful serene atmosphere all over that makes it wonderful it just walk through. There is also a kids area that is interactive with splash pad and more.

FM Gardens and Sculpture Park is one of the gems of Michigan (the whole country, really!) I’ve been a member over the years, and they keep making a great place even better. I go there often, to walk amongst the beautiful grounds, and to see the art - they have over 200 sculptures by world-class artists! If you have kids (I took mine when they were little and now bring my granddaughter) there is a special children’s garden full of interactive things to do, as well as an awesome indoor play area. The whole place is a wonderland for children, full of plants and wildlife, including swans and geese and ducks and turtles and frogs in the wetlands boardwalk area. And there is a great cafe, wonderful gift shop, picnic area where you can bring your own food, and plenty of spotlessly clean restrooms :) They also offer many special events, including parties and concerts, and things like the butterflies in the spring and holiday trees from around the world in late fall. If you haven’t been, I recommend it as one of the top things to do in Grand Rapids!

My daughter and I enjoyed the butterfly exhibit!! The staff is always so friendly and helpful The quails are so cute along with the canaries. Will definitely be going back. The sculptures are very interesting. The handicap parking area is plentyful. The wheelchairs are readily available. I can't wait until the plants outside start blooming. Beautiful outdoor areas

Such a neat place. Loved the indoor plant displays. We were there while they were doing their butterfly exhibit, which was awesome. (Butterflies are my favorite!) We also did the nature walk, visited the Japanese Garden, and walked around the sculpture park. Highly recommend!

This was a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon. There is way more to see than the eye let's on. The ticket price of $18 is well worth the amount of park to cover. There is also a great indoor area to explore as well. The park sections are well taken care of and it was a true delight to walk the trails and see wildlife in its natural form. We probably spent more time looking at the frogs, tadpoles, and chipmunks than anything else. There is staff readily available anywhere in the park. The Japanese Gardens is definitely a highlight and a must see.However, there is not nearly enough shaded areas to take refuge in during hot summer days in some of the outdoor sections. With little cloud cover the particular Sunday I went, it was too much to continue on and finish the park.The park recommends giving yourself at least 2 hours, but honestly, you should plan for 3 or 4 if you like to stop and observe. It's a great way to spend a large portion of your day.

Beautiful gardens and museum! Highly recommended! I haven’t been here in 10 years and I was pleasantly surprised with all the recent renovations! This place is top notch! My adult children, my toddler grandchild and I all loved it/Perfect for all ages! I can’t wait to go back!

It was a bit hot but the trolly ride was very worth the extra $6 each. Then we strolled around the absolutely beautiful and relaxing Japanese Gardens. There are a lot of benches throughout the park. Definitely plan to go back and check out more of it.

What a fun way to spend the afternoon! There's lots to see.. so many pretty plants & trees along the many pathways. They have a neat children's play area. Make sure to bring drinking water!! It's a long walk, but we seen everything within 2 hours.. if you're wanting to move slower and take your time you could easily spend all day here tho. The greenhouse was really neat, lots of tropical plants & trees.. the cactus room is amazing also! As for the art.. well it's was ok. I'm not big into art so most of it didn't impress me. A few that were neat tho was the giant horse, arch, and electricity one(pictured)

A rather wonderful space for the community, and travelers alike. The grounds are expansive with meandering trails both shaded and open. The gardens, landscape and hot house vignettes are enjoyable, but lack emphasis on botanical diversity and content. Dominant use of hybrids and ordinary nursery stock used creatively to provide aesthetic balance.There are a lot of sculptures, large and small. The diversity of styles is impressive and each provide a plaque to note artist and title while leaving the interpretation to the viewer. The amphitheatre is beautiful and offers a unique space to partake in cultural performances. It is the very reason I had the pleasure of visiting this venue, being on tour with a music concert.Absolutely all the staff and volunteers, from every department and level of position are friendly, helpful and accommodating. There is tram service that tours the grounds for those that want or need a way to see everything. An on-site cafe offers uncomplicated yet fresh food for a variety of dietary needs and tastes, with options for indoor and outdoor seating. If you're visiting with children you will not be alone, there are a variety of spaces geared to offer safe and entertaining areas for the young ones. Generally speaking the venue is large enough that those desiring more peaceful contemplation of their surroundings will not feel neglected.

When I lived in the area we visited frequently and had annual passes. We enjoyed the butterflies in the spring and the train ride at Christmas. In between we never tired of the standing exhibits or special exhibits. Back in the day we could see The Thinker. Today you can see Eve and of course, The American Horse which is an epic sculpture.You'll find the Children's Garden to be charming at any age. You'll be entranced by the Japanese Garden. Other areas you don't want to miss are Michigan's Farm Garden and Sculpture Park. There are also exhibits indoors.If you want to see everything, allow 4-5 hours. It's best though to become a member and return regularly. Plan a trip with a book or a camera and sit in the many well positioned areas to enjoy beauty and tranquility.Also, check frequently for special events including outdoor concerts in the spectacular amphitheater.Below please enjoy some photos below. It's not a complete tour so you'll want to go yourself.Pricing hasn't changed in years so it's still very reasonable.Almost everything is completely accessible except for a few small trails. There is a mobility center with some wheelchairs and scooters (first cone first serve). There is a tram that is narrated if you prefer not to walk.There are some designated picnic areas and some eating options though I didn't see these personally.Parking is plentiful.No smoking.The signage maps are plentiful and strategically placed. The guest guide provided with your ticket is very helpful .Adult ticket is $20; seniors $15.

Loved the butterfly exhibit! Very nice place to get out and walk. Sculpture gardens and beautiful Japanese gardens. They also have a restaurant that serves great sandwiches (turkey and curry chicken salad were wonderful). You can also pack a lunch and eat outside if you want. Was not crowded when we went and spent just over three hours. Will definitely come back next time we are in town.

It was really cool to see international sculptures in grand rapids. I've personally never been to a sculpture garden but it's cool to listen to everyone's interpretation of what they think the sculpture represents if the artist won't tell you. Sometimes the artists actually visit the gardens which is really cool to hear what they have to say about their own work. The Japanese garden was may favorite, probably because of my affinity for Japanese culture and art. They have a tea house in which they actually do tea ceremonies there every once in a while, but you have to reserve a spot for yourself if you want to experience that. There are plenty of different types of flora and lots of ponds and waterfalls. A very nice place to forget all of your issues and just relax. When I went it was like 90° F so I was focusing more on not being dehydrated but I did take some time to sit on a bench in the shade and just reflect. The art is very abstract if you're into that. Plus the visitor center is air-conditioned so it feels nice to go in after being in the hot sun.

This garden is absolutely stunning and worth every penny. The entire garden is perfectly kept and you could easily spend your entire day here. Not only is it nice to look at and explore it's a great place for photos. The garden is kid friendly and has tons of activities to keep busy. There's easy access to many bathrooms spread about the garden and lots of drinking fountains and places to recycle or throw items away. There's places to eat snacks from home or eating from their personal Cafe. Overall i enjoyed every second of being here and would highly recommend going.

WOW!!😯😍 Such an amazingly beautiful and awesome place!! We spent 4hours walking through most of the inside and we ate lunch there too. It was raining outside, and this was a perfect place to go on a rainy day. BUT we have to go back to walk through all of the outside. I did walk outside to see a couple fountains real quick, but there is SO much more that I want to see. They have very detailed and handy maps that you can get from staff. You can take a tram tour through most of the outside gardens. This place is just unbelievable, and sooo worth the price. If I lived near by, I'd get a membership forsure. The cafe is amazing too, and has so many neat options to choose from.

Enjoy this beautiful botanical gardens in Grand Rapids. Only 2 hours and 15 minutes from Valparaiso. Easy drive. 94 to 196. then get off on exit 38 in Grand Rapids Michigan. you have arrived at your destination.

An amazing and beautiful place to visit in West Michigan. Highly recommend doing the 45 minute tram tour to view many of the sculptures on the grounds with narration. We spent over an hour in the Japanese Garden and it is the most amazing spot in the park. The children's garden area is fun and has a really cool tree fort. You need all day to even try and see everything. We spent 3 hours there and did the tram, Japanese Garden and Children's Garden.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! I couldn't even begin to say enough wonderful things about these gardens! And the sculptures too! My parents brought me here years ago when it was a lot closer to its original opening and it certainly has grown and FLOURISHED! The pictures speak for themselves as to the beauty of the entire place. But the workers are just as beautiful. Everyone was so kind, helpful, friendly, and happy! A truly pleasant and peaceful place to be! Thank you so much, Frederik Meijer Gardens, for an amazing day and memories that will last forever!

Had a really great time! My in-laws have the grandparents membership and it's totally worth it, this place is extremely family friendly. The indoor gardens are stunning and the kids loved watching the mini train go by! There's a kids playroom on another level as well if you need a break from all the noise. We mainly went for the Christmas around the world exhibit, which is so beautiful I just wish they had the space to do every county. Staff was also wonderful!!

The only negative i could say about here is that they don’t have a squished penny machine! 😢 My girlfriend and i absolutely lovee this place let me tell you what, i have been going here since i was real little and am fortunate enough to live close by. I have the membership and i am constantly surprised and amazed that every time we go, there is something new and different to see. The property is big and they have a lot to offer and see, i would highly recommend going if you can!

I really liked and enjoyed this zoo better than the Indy zoo, albeit I give the Indy zoo 5 stars as well. I just enjoyed this zoo and experience better.My reef encounter tour wasn't as good as expected, seemed a bit short and a boring but I was just hoping for something better like feeding the sharks and lion fish however the lady that gave me the tour was great and knew her stuff!All of the staff here were amazing, friendly, helpful, very upbeat, positive, and seemed to go above and beyond!!

This was my 1st time visiting and I loved it. It was so hot out yesterday but the zoo has plenty of shady rest areas. A lot of the animals weren't out because of the heat so I would definitely love to go back when it is a little cooler outside. It was still very enjoyable.

Went on a rainy Saturday morning to find no crowd and everything open! It's changed a lot over the years and would be hard to recognize if you haven't been in the last 10 years or so. It's worth checking back out! The goats, chickens, and giraffes are $1 each to feed, and the rides are $3 each per person all done digitally on an iPad in the zoo, card only no cash that we saw.

5 stars all the way around! If you go early, you get the most out of your day, the staff is out and ready to interact with all of the zoo goers! Food was great, rides were smooth and no issues ever at this location. The animals were amazing and vibrant as well as seemed to enjoy their handlers! Just a spectacular display once again Fort Wayne Children's Zoo!!!

We went on December 15th 2023 and while not all the animals were out due to it being winter and too cold for them we enjoyed it so much. The zoo keepers were amazing and welcoming, there were enough animals, birds and fish to see to have a blast. We took a ride on a mini train, pet the sting rays, brushed the goats and just enjoyed the cozy atmosphere! There were even some things we didn't take advantage of that were available like free carousel rides, letters to Santa station, princesses Anna and Elsa and a visit with Santa.We had a great time and I highly recommend visiting!

Always a fun time at the zoo in Fort Wayne! From the sky lift over the safari to the Indiana farm petting zoo, there are animals everywhere although some are pretty good at blending in to their surroundings. The monkeys and seals are adorable, while the carousel and train are fun for all ages. The zoo is very well maintained and clean and the staff is friendly.Bring a snack and drink for yourself and the kiddos, it's allowed, which makes the trip more affordable for families. It's a great way to spend the day!

We went as a school event. It was a very chilly day so we didn't get to see a few animals because they were inside. And there was no bears? Anyways the paths were nice the enclosure were nice. You can touch the stingrays!! The seals were very active we were there at feeding time. The tiger was very active. I would def go again.

Took my favorite kid to the zoo before he headed back to school. I hadn't been to the zoo in several years, and enjoyed all the fun times we shared there. The zoo is so inviting, super clean, wonderful friendly staff and amazing animals. Highly recommend to kids from 1 to 101!

The last time I went to the Fort Wayne children’s zoo was before Covid! Well, since I’ve been back, they made a lot of major improvements and have added quite a few new features. I love that you can purchase a ride pass for the day at a low cost of $25 for 12 rides. I recommend checking them all out and most importantly, enjoying all the time with your little ones!

We had a good day. Very family friendly! Landscaping was pretty. There was an employee talking about the animals with the kangaroos & giraffes. At this zoo you walk on paths that feel like trails (paved for the vast majority of the areas). It's not just one big open area. There are a couple good food places, a coffee shop, and a few snack stands and ice cream stands. Chicken fingers, fries, hot dog, and peanut butter and jelly were all good and as to be expected in this type of environment. There were a ton of bees around these eateries. Watch out so you don't get stung. We also rode the carousel, a train ride, and a "boat" ride. All were really fun! They also have a chair lift, but it was shut down while we were there.

This was my first time visiting this zoo and I was surprised at how sprawling it is. They have multiple different "regions" which are landscaped and designed very well to make you feel like you've been transported to another continent. They have lots of different animals, and even some interactive feeding experiences with animals like giraffes and stingrays. They do a good job of having employees at a lot of the exhibits discussing the animals. They also have a few rides to check out around the zoo, including a ski lift type ride and a water log ride. Overall this is a great zoo and absolutely worth dedicating a day to.

We had the best time! Easy & free parking. Lots of animals where you can get up close! Lush gardens of beautiful flowers and greenery everywhere. Very easy to navigate with strollers, wagons or wheelchairs. Lots of photo opportunities throughout the zoo. It seemed as if there was always a bathroom nearby which helps tremendously with small children. Plan your trip accordingly, they have different animal feedings throughout the zoo. We went when It was overcast so the giraffes weren’t as active and if you don’t get there early they may have eaten a lot for the day. The stingrays only feed at 11 & 2 I believe. The petting zoo is always fun we did that last. We started in Africa and moved counterclockwise. Cafés throughout the park and lots of benches to stop and take a rest. They even had more private places for nursing mothers. We can’t wait to come back!

I really enjoyed spending time at this zoo with my husband. He wanted to go there the day of our concert as a way to pass the time before it started and it exceeded our expectations! Lots of animals to see and well kept from what we saw. Would definitely recommend!

This was our first visit and we enjoyed it very much. I truly appreciated the vegetation and water features all around the zoo. There were many places to rest in the shade. The exhibits seemed large enough for the animals to have adequate space and were clean. The animals all looked healthy.

What a great gem in Fort Wayne! We spent the afternoon enjoying the animals, the botanicals, the rides...all lovely. Peaco*cks roam freely. The zoo is clean and walkable. The theming is excellent throughout. Don't let the name fool you, it's for all ages...we were a party of five adults!

Great experience. The zoo was very clean and mostly shady. Not extremely large so you’re able to do in a day. We went on a Sunday and it wasn’t busy. We were able to see a good amount of animals. Tickets were $18.00 an adult. All the feedings and tickets you can buy digitally throughout the park on kiosk. There’s also 2 kiosk at the food area which was nice if your using card, we were able to skip the line. Bathrooms were clean and found throughout the park. Free parking.

Great place for kids! The layout is great compared to others. Food prices are decent and good options. Tons of shady spots all around the park to sit and relax in. Nice little water/stream feature for the kids to cool down in, also in the shade. Carousel only 3$ per rider, and if you're standing (not sitting) with your kid you are free. There's also a log ride and train also 3$ per rider and opening soon there is going to be a huge rope course. Lots of photo opportunities and animals to pet!The only thing I would change/add is the bee population is wild out there (early September when I visited) couldn't eat/sit without being flown at but it didn't effect our visit. And I wish there was an actual playground.

Absolutely amazing place to visit. I hadn't been back since I was in middle school almost 25 years ago. What an amazing transformation and yet still very familiar. I had a blast with my family and will try to get back before another couple decades pass. What a great place to spend the day with loved ones and honestly it's so great maybe even a great place to walk around with enemies as there is so many cool exhibits to look at. Really recommend to anyone who has a few or more hours and is in the area.

Fantastic zoo! We went in purchasing basic admission and came out running to the membership sign up stand. The animals at this zoo were more lively and active than any other zoo I've been too. There were so many baby animals to see. The aquarium and aviary was stellar and large. The reptile house is always my favorite but sadly the largest, the alligator, was sleepy.General admission for two adults is $58.00. Parking is $11.00 at the Hippo road entrance parking lot. We decided to buy the membership because we absolutely will be back! We were able to combine our ticket purchase from today and the total for the family membership was $48.00! That pays for itself in two visits and you receive free parking with that membership. We didn't stop at any of the restaurants, but maybe next time.

We love the zoo! It's close to our house, and we have a membership. I highly recommend getting one. The zoo has plenty of special events throughout the year, but the Lights Before Christmas is an absolute must. The work they've put into the new exhibits and renovations is amazing. A few of our favorite attractions...Nature's Neighborhood and the Splash Pad for the kiddos...The Natural History Museum (my favorite)....The Aquarium...The Aviary...the Giraffe feeding...and all the animals of course! I would love to give it 5 stars, but the prices are so high. Also, they no longer allow outside food or drinks. Real bummer.Still a season ticket makes it all worthwhile.

We always love going to the Toledo Zoo for the lights, and this year was better than ever. After two decades of visiting every year, the Aviary was FINALLY open and we got to see some amazing specimens. Lots of other animals were out, too. Not to mention the lights, which were spectacular as always. The zoo employee screaming at us to get out of the orangutan exhibit did sour the experience a bit, I must say.

Love this zoo, I've been coming here since I was a kid- and it seems to just get better and better each year. We went on a Wednesday this year and it wasn't very crowded at all. The animals were more interactive than I've ever seen That's gotta be my favorite thing about this zoo, how well the animals are looked after. Their enclosures are large, they seem genuinely happy, which makes this place such a great experience. I've gone to other zoos in major cities and in comparison, they've seemed like backyard barn farms. Despite the stellar review, definitely be prepared for the price of food. It's outrageous, but what tourist attraction doesn't have outrageously priced food? It's a tradition. The souvenirs are also jacked up in price- but the stuff is pretty cute. I personally love my little octopus plushie I got from the aquarium gift shop. And as a native to the Toledo area, its very important they reopen the entrance on Broadway. If you serve the community in such a large way as letting the entire county free on Mondays, at least let the people who live in the neighborhood walk in. They have to put up with a lot due to the zoo- and it would be nice if the zoo extended that kindness. Other than that soapbox speech, the Toledo zoo really is a wonderful place that is near and dear to my heart.

It was an amazing day I must say. Relaxing, educational, inspiring. We had a wonderful tym seeing everything there & the guides that explain the exhibits r so very appreciated, helpful, kind. I luvd they were there to explain and make it more enjoyable to learn about each animal. I must say the tiniest seahorses I've ever seen there, were amazing too.. it's truly a wonderful zoo.. even in the rain.

Had a great day with my family, enjoying the sights and scenery. The zoo has done a lot of improvements since the last time I was there 10+ years ago. The exhibits were great. The food was good, definitely slightly pricey, but there were lots of options. Everything was really clean except for the baby changing station in one of the family restrooms. We bought a membership and I think it is totally worth it because you get free parking (which is normally $10) and also receive 10% off on all food purchases. We can't wait to go back soon!

Had a wonderful time at the zoo. Varieties of animals, nice exhibits, lot many ones for children to enjoy. Concession stands all available in the same area instead of scattered across the zoo. Pumpkin carvings, inflatables, play areas, it was all fun!

Was a great experience. One of my favorite zoos. And I go to 2 new zoos every year. Seen so many animals I haven't seen at other zoos. Nice to see pairs and no solo animals. Plenty of places for kids to play and have fun. Free water fountains, huge plus there. We pay enough to get in. Love seeing the original buildings in with the new. Will recommend.

I could spend hours marveling at the beauty of nature housed within the Toledo Zoo. It was truly a day filled with wonder and appreciation for our planet’s diverse inhabitants.Exploring the different exhibits was a journey through various ecosystems. The Arctic Encounter with polar bears gracefully gliding through the water was breathtaking, while the African Savanna transported me amidst giraffes, wild buffalos, zebras, and tiger with her cubs. One of the highlights was the Aviary, a paradise filled with colorful birds from around the world. Moreover, the zoo’s commitment to conservation and education shone through their informative sessions and conservation initiatives. It was heartwarming to witness their dedication to preserving endangered species and raising awareness about wildlife conservation. It was a great experience and still lots more to see & cover, probably when I visit again

Wayyyyyy better than Detroit Zoo. The aviary is filled with the most beautiful birds. The primates are always so fun to watch. I wish they would get the giraffe feeding open. We are still waiting to do this!

Very nice zoo. Came from Detroit to see animals we don’t have at the Detroit zoo. I personally didn’t get to see very many, as the group I was with was slow moving lol. This is obviously no fault of the zoo but I missed a lot and I will certainly have to come back. From what I did see, it appears to be a very nice zoo and the animals were pretty active. They do also have a small aquarium which is included with admission. You can easily get through the aquarium in half an hour, so don’t expect to spend a long time there. They do have a touch tank where you can touch rays and small sharks. The kids really enjoyed that.The zoo does have a train that doesn’t go very far, but it’s only $2.50 per person, they also have a merry go round for $2 each. They of course also have places to buy souvenirs and get your face painted.The coolest exhibit I saw there was the museum of natural history that had lots of detailed sculptures of animals that were once in America but are now extinct such as giant sloths, mastodons, etc. This building also had a touch tank where you can touch sturgeon.There are quite a few places to eat there, but a lot appeared to be closed. Be prepared to pay a premium for bottled water, you may want to consider bringing your own, as it was $4 per bottleOverall, we had a fun time and I definitely want to come back so I can see everything. I would definitely check this out if you’re in the area and if you’re in Detroit, I’d suggest visiting this zoo as a change from the one in Detroit if you’d like to see some different animals. Zoo is only about an hour away from Detroit.

Easily one of the best zoo experiences I've had:The layout takes a second to get used too with most of the zoo being on the opposite side of the road, they have a nice tunnel and bridge to get to the other side which makes it convenient. When I was here today there was a ramp under construction.A lot of the exhibits are clean and spacious. The animals today were very active and there are a ton of free up-close interactions you can partake in.The staff was friendly and knowledgeable as they wandered the park and interacted with everyone.I would absolutely recommend everyone take a chance here and explore, it's a great and exciting learning environment for everyone!

I've always liked that it's an easy zoo to navigate with plenty of great attractions. If you have small kiddos, this is the zoo for you. Easy to walk, good concessions, and the exhibits will keep the kids entertained and often amazed. Don't worry, as an adult you'll feel like akud again.

Good selection of animals to see and they keep improving and expanding habitats. Lots of interactive experiences for kids and people of all ages. Great aquarium, green houses and play areas. Their aviary and reptile house is also nice. They also have a great museum and an outdoor amphitheater. There is also a vegetable patch and pollinator garden. Some cramped quarters for some animals but I can see they’re working on improving the overall quality of life for the animals. Clean bathrooms and nursing areas.Overall good well rounded experience. Well worth the membership/ ticket fee. Highly recommend getting a membership especially if you have kids. Lots to explore even if you end up coming a few times a month like we do! They also have free days/ times. Friendly knowledgeable staff and volunteers

It's a good zoo. Some animals weren't out, unfortunately. Lots of walking, I believe most if not all of it is stroller/wheelchair accessible! The aquarium has touch tanks where you're able to touch some sea animals. There is a splash pad, it was closed for the season when we visited but hope to visit it when they open again when it warms up. Some animals are no longer there that were there years ago, understandable but sad 😢 . Buy a membership, it's worth it.

Most expensive zoo we've gone too. I think prices across the board were a bit higher than anything we've seen from other, better known zoos. Also had to pay for parking.But anyway, I'll always give zoos 5 stars if they treat the animals well. The habitats were well thought out and most were well sized. All animals had forms of enrichment and ways to stay active which was great. There is information and historical data all over the park so there is plenty to read, which I enjoyed.Besides pricing, my only complaint are the information TVs above most exhibits. It takes way too long for most of the information screens to cycle back around and I just couldn't keep waiting. They either need to add more TVs or simply go back to the informational signs like most zoos have.And clean the glass. It was hard to see into a lot of exhibits. But we went late in the year. Maybe that's a seasonal job??

Too much fun! If you can, get an family pass you should definitely go for it. There’s too much going to see and one day is not enough time!🥰 we also got the experience package which pays for itself. We get to go on as many rides as we want on the safari train and carousel. And we can feed the giraffes with it too. Plus it gets you trick or treating for free and all the other seasonal activities as well.

Great zoo for the whole family. Lots of parking. Clean and well staffed. I saw EMS and security team members roaming the zoo.Many attractions have wheelchair access. Clean and kid’s friendly. Lots of customers but didn’t get overwhelming for me because the place was so large, everyone was well scattered.Lots of restrooms, small gift shops, drink and snack stands, and restaurants throughout the zoo. Lots to do. Lots to look at. Lots to buy.Affordable prices for foods, drinks, snacks and admission. Parking is $10 in addition to admission cost. Water park is also additional.Place is huge. Plan to stay a whole day or maybe even two days or else you’ll be rushing to get through the entire place.

Incredible zoo and water park! My family and I paid for two of the behind the scenes events (Jack Hanna and the Safari Ride) and these were so amazing we want to go back. We also fed the sting rays which was so fun. Very affordable considering everything we did that day. My only suggestion is to get there early or spend two days there in order to see everything. One of the best zoos I have ever been to. 🦓🦒🦚🦡🦛

Amazing Amazing experience. Got the chance to bathe an Elephant and learn about them. Our Zoo Educator Erin was amazing. Chris, the Elephant keeper, was also amazing. They were both very knowledgeable and awesome to be around. All the staff was amazing. The animals are well kept and taken care of. Lots of animals to see, great experience gaining knowledge from all the Zoo keepers. Well worth the travel and money. Wild Burger has a very tasty burger, customer service was on point.

The Columbus Zoo and Aquarium exceeded our very high expectations. Every exhibit was well themed, spacious, and full of activities for the animals. The pathways were well-marked and well-laod out. Water cups were available at all drink and food stands with fountain drink sales. The animals were allowed to choose whether to be in their outside or inside habitats.There were many species we had not seen in person before including sand cats, several reptiles, and polar bears. The reptile house was expansive and impressive. Personally, I have never seen a feline that I didn't love and the number of big (and small) cats at the zoo did not disappoint.I have only great things to say about this zoo. A couple of tips we discovered; definitely buy tickets and parking online, this makes entering so much faster; purchase a refillable drink mug and enjoy complimentary refills the day of purchase; ride the Dinosaur Boat Ride (additional $3 charge, worth it); and if possible, ride the zoo shuttle from the nearby Park-and-Ride for $3 tickets.Finally, the zoo has been collecting cards for Jack Hanna and his family. Jack Hanna spent his life educating people on animals via his TV appearances, shows, and the zoo itself. He is stricken with advanced Alzheimer's disease and no longer recognizes the zoo that he helped to shape. If anyone is so inclined, there is a small mailbox in the guest relations building, inside the zoo, next to the turnstiles where you can leave a card or note for him and his family.

My visit to the Columbus Zoo was truly incredible. The diversity of animals and their well-maintained habitats left me in awe. From playful penguins to majestic big cats, it's a wildlife enthusiast's dream. The staff's knowledge and passion shone through in their interactions, making it an enriching experience for all ages. It was a Halloween holiday, so seeing children in different costume was a plus. A must-visit for anyone in the area and nearby state.

Love the columbus zoo! The food was great, people were friendly, and the weather was mild so ALL the animals were out and active. North America is under construction so not too much to see there, but if you walk past all of that still has all of Africa and the North America bears to see. ❤️❤️

We went for a school field trip for my first grader. It was a gloomy day but the animals were still out and about. Saw lots of staff cleaning up inside and outside exhibits. The way this zoo is set up makes it super easy to get around. All of the staff I encountered were super friendly and very helpful. Train ride was only $2.00 a person! Really enjoyed our day here.

By far my favorite zoo in Ohio. This is the first time we've gone this late in the year and it's beautiful with the leaves changing. Since it was cooler more of the animals were active which we loved!! The new underwater tunnel for the seals is awesome & one of our favorite things there this year. Wasn't crowded at all. The Zoo and bathrooms are very clean & the staff is super friendly, great with kids! They've added Adventure Cove since I visited last & it looked like it could be fun, but you can only ride a few rides with a Zoo admission ticket. We LOVE Sting Ray bay. The stingrays get super playful when you're feeding them!!

This was my first visit to the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium, and I am sure it won't be the last. Even though the temperature was hot the park has several places to go inside for quick cool downs. The park is easy to navigate. The exhibits were informative and interactive. The animals were active or visible too. My son (10) had a blast in the stingray pool with several opportunities to see and touch them up close. Overall a great day and I look forward to returning.

We went here for the lights and they were absolutely gorgeous. Pictures didn't do them justice. Such an awesome zoo and pretty clean for the most part. I would suggest getting there early if you also plan on seeing the animals as most exhibit areas closed at 5 pm which we did not know and missed a ton of animals. It was also very crowded if you don't enjoy being shoulder to shoulder with people, the line to get in as we were leaving was all the way to the parking lot.

Our first time to the Columbus Zoo. It wasn't over crowded and we could walk around easily. If you're a Hot Chocolate fan I would highly recommend getting the souvenir cups that you can get free refills as you go throughout the night. Wait times at the food carts are not horrible either! And very nice staff members.

I love going to the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium. They have so many great animals to see. I especially enjoy the Pallas' cats, the bears, the sea lions and seals, the reptile house, the penguins, the tiger, and the manatees. The property is well kept, and the habitats for the animals are nice and spacious. It's a great place to take kids or to just spend an afternoon. You'll want to allow yourself plenty of time to see everything, though, as it's a large zoo! Definitely worth a visit, or several!

We went for the holiday lights and it was worth the 2 and a half hour drive for us. We also arrive close to opening time before it got flooded with people at sun set so that was a smart move.It felt like the entire zoo was ours. The downside was that half of the animals were gone but that’s completely understandable as no decent person would want animals to freeze for our entertainment. Regardless, we had a beautiful walk through the entire place twice. I hadn't been to the Columbus Zoo for a long time! So much bigger. The zoo and aquarium were absolutely amazing! Natural habitats we're well maintained. Animals seemed clean, well fed and mostly active. We all enjoyed the wonderful displays. Price was about $25 for the zoo and aquarium. They also had rides! I think you could pay per ride or maybe buy a ride pass bracelet (??). Also, they had a splash park! No info to give, just that I saw it as an extra part of the zoo area (need to buy a extra ticket for the water park). This attraction has a HUGE parking lot ($10 for parking...I highly recommend buying tickets online. Also, you should print your tickets before you go! You pay for parking at the same time). From the parking lot, there is a "tram" to get on to ride to the main zoo entrance. We had a great day!

We had a great day at the zoo. They have QR code that you can scan to have the map right on your phone or they offer paper maps as well. They had great signage too so it was easy to follow and find your way around. There were volunteers at a lot of the animal viewing areas that shared information about the animals we were seeing. They have plenty of seats throughout for breaks. You can take in drinks and snacks too which is a great way to save some money. They do have stands throughout for food and even offer Great Lakes draft beer. They have a great food court too. The outdoor area is covered with plants so you get plenty of shade. We saw a good amount of animals. We learned a lot we didn’t know about different species too. I would recommend you check it out.

This is by fair the biggest and best zoo I have ever been to. We went here on our way down from New York and it was a great decision. We spent 5 hours at the zoo saw plenty of animals. The zoo was very clean, staff was helpful and friendly and they had a lot of displays and beautiful landscaping.

Had a such fun day at the zoo! This is one of the better zoo in the country. Lots of animals and sea creatures to see and touch. Fun shows and cool rides. Loved the 4-D film, ticket was only $5. It is such a great place for the family to bring their young kids. Us adults also had a fantastic time!

This zoo is one of the best I've ever been too. The animals are excellently cared for. They have zoo ambassadors at the exhibits to answer questions about the animals. There are multiple shows and demonstrations. The zoo offers private tours and experiences for an additional charge. It is huge and beautifully designed. There is a water park right next to it that I haven't explored. I have visited this zoo twice and each time I left completely exhausted. You could easily spend a couple days here to really get to see and do everything. They have food, alcohol and dessert available for purchase. The entire campus is non-smoking. There is plenty of parking, and a train inside the zoo and a shuttle to ride if you are parked far. The zoo has a couple of little rides. It's perfect and designed well for families or whomever to enjoy!

One of the best days of our vacation was spent at this zoo! I would definitely come back again, this time maybe for The Wilds experience.We got there fairly early, not long after opening. FYI, there is a parking fee collected when you enter the lot, so be ready.We saw so many animals and had great views that allowed for some awesome pics. Definitely recommend spending the extra cash to feed the giraffes, too. I do this at any zoo that offers it and it never gets old. We covered most of the zoo in a very busy 3 hours, but if you want to take your time, you could easily spend a whole day.Oh, and I loved the Frosty cart, it was a great treat right before heading out. I haven't seen one like this anywhere else and it was a perfect ending to the day.Definitely recommend.

We love close enough to go to the Zoo regularly and enjoy the beautiful grounds and education offered. The zoo doesn't remarkable job of encouraging conservation and understanding animal habitats.I am adding a review of the WildLights for 2023. The sheer volume of work that goes into this endeavor demonstrates the sense of bringing community together. It was awe inspiring - packed for sure. Things seemed to run orderly and for trip the weather was cooperative. If you haven't gone go- parking is $10 and then of course the price of your ticket worth it for a family outing to see lights and enjoy the sights...side note most all the exhibits close at 5PM.....so don't expect to see the animals..just the lights.

Christmas lights was one of the best displays I have seen bar none. Worth the trip for sure.If you are going to see animals go earlier in the day because a lot of displays of animals end about 5. The one bad thing I will say is if you go,plan on being stuck in parking lot for at least 2 hours or just camp in parking lot all night. No traffic direction to exit so therefore all night traffic jam

Truly a massive outlet mall with a large variety of shops for all sorts of needs. It was really spacious and felt like you can walk around for a long time. The shops all had really good deals going on and worth visiting especially if you’re coming from outside Michigan for a shopping spree.

Great mall, good variety of stores. Many food vendors and nice restaurants. Has lego land, aquarium, peppy pig and rain forest Cafe. You need to reserve those before going.

It’s a beautiful mall! Very big and “Michigan Largest Outlet Center” is a quite living up to its name. It is our first time visiting this mall.Lots of big brand store and other store that are located in this mall. Surprisingly, there is an aquarium located within the mall as well bowling alley if you want to take a break. There’s is a lot of different activities inside. Aesthetically the mall has different theme as you move on different zone.I live layout of the mall as well, it allows you to go in one direction and very fluid. This means you can visit all the store without going back and forth. There’s a lot of parking space, it didn’t take us that long to find one. Unless it was already late by the we got there. Speaking of time, you’re going to need almost half of your day if you want to visit store and find a good deal. Make sure you give yourself that amount time.I will be back to this mall whenever we visit Michigan again!

A huge mall with various choices, may take the whole day to walk around and take a thorough look at every shop, but if you know what you want to buy, it’ll just take half a day. I came here first time on a weekday, so the parking lot was rather empty. The shops were easy to navigate; you just go straight from any entrance and there would be the number of “district” for your reference. The food court has some decent options but I wish there were more. The bowling/arcade game space is a fun stop for families. Other than that, there were not many differences in terms of deals or varieties of items (you can find the same in any TJMaxx, Marshalls, Macy’s, etc.)

This is a beautiful place. Large stores. The store fronts have nice displays. You can find whatever you need. Including a food court. Hours are 11:am to 9:pm.

It's a wonderful place to go..not counting all the stores and restaurants and the fact it has 2 attractions sea life and Legoland in it. both of them places was really fun my grand kids had a blast. but in the middle of the mall they have a big play area for the kids and its free.👍👍

One of the best Malls in metro Detroit. People travel from out of town to shop here. Great Lakes Crossing is well maintained and a great destination especially in the winter months when you are looking for a place to get away from the snow. The food court offers a variety of options for dining. Additionally the multiplex theater offers another venue for entertainment.

One of the best outlets malls to get deals at. They have a movie theatre, legoland, a good amount of restaurants around, and plenty of very good stores. A must visit place if you are visit east Michigan area.

This outlet mall have most of the name brands here. Like Nike, Ecco, Foot Locker and much more. If you are willing to work and search high and low you can find some good quality products that’s deep discounted.

Too busy, not enough cashiers at stores. Lineups inside were sometimes 20+ minutes. A lot of selection but you really have to search for good deals. Not that many outlet stores, just brand name retail.

The shopping was good, we got great deals, but they don't have any control of traffic. It's Black Friday; they were supposed to know they would be busy and traffic would occur. We are waiting about 3 hours to get out of the parking area. (Edit) A car caught fire, and we are still stuck for 5 hours! (Edit) Seven hours total, I'm sorry, but no more Black Friday in this place.

American malls are dead... EXCEPT THIS ONE! I couldn't believe how PACKED this mall was! But they definitely are doing it right. They have improved upon the in person shopping by adding in plenty of experiences. The Rainforest Cafe is stimulating. The aquarium and lego world are engaging. All of this plus a bustling food court offer families a full day of entertainment! Well done!

Nice, clean mall that reminds me of Vaughan Mills in Toronto. It has a nice play area in the food court for little children that can give them a break. I'm not sure if we were really tired but it seems like the bathrooms were very far apart. Good selection of stores, otherwise.

Yes a very spacious and enchanting shopping outlet of all major brands . So nicely organized and looks to be a favorite shopping center for people in about 50 miles radius ! Garments, footwears, jewelleries, electronics, toys , sportswears of every popular and not so popular brands can be found .One must plan this visit as even a day is not enough to take stock of availability of the things . Absolutely incredible and exquisite exhibits. Everything is laid out so well you can easily travel from one section to the next, with a smooth transition in-between.The cases are spaciously laid out as to not be overwhelming. This creates a good flowing atmosphere that keeps you moving and staring at the next item.There's a nice cafeteria that you can eat at, but hold on to your tickets. You'll need them to get back into the museum.The attendants are wonderful. The place is neat, tidy, and just fun. Definitely take your kids here, your wife, everyone will have something to look at here!

My family loved this walk through history. So much more than cars! We spent hours here and could have spent so much more. A must see if you ever make it to the Detroit area. Went on a Wednesday. It wasn’t overly crowded and we were able to enjoy it without feeling hampered by too many people.

This is a great place to visit! There is so much to do and see one day is certainly not enough.If you are in the area I would certainly recommend stopping by. If you want to see it all without any rush I would recommend at least 1.5 days (assuming you take one full day). Make sure to look into the membership if visiting more than one day!The museum is mostly wheelchair accessible and they also rent wheelchairs if needed.

The Henry Ford museum is definitely my favourite museum in Detroit. It displays a lot of history from the very beginning of motoring up to the present time. My favourite displays would be the United States presidents cars. Followed closely by the 1941 Allegheny Locomotive one of the largest steam powered Locomotives ever built. Very interesting to see also Henry Ford's kitchen bench engine, that's how it all started. There is so much to see in this museum not just cars. You can spend a whole day here enjoying yourself. I highly recommend a visit to this museum.

My visit to the museum was a great experience. The highlight for me was the impressive selection of cars, including those used by presidents. The exhibit showcased a diverse range of vehicles, adding a unique and fascinating dimension to the visit. The overall atmosphere and variety made it a memorable exploration into history culture.

I’ll definitely recommend to visit this museum in Detroit. It’s so huge and you can find here a lot of different things. History of United States. Progress of different directions such as railways, cars, planes, different manual productions. They also recommend factory tour and if you get museum and factory you’ll get discount. We didn’t have enough time and went through museum only. We got tickets in the spot and were not actually even planning to go there and it was Friday so I believe you can have tickets at the door any time. Enjoy and bring your kids there are a lot of interactive elements.

This was perhaps the best place that I've visited in a long time!! It was like a kid let loose in a candy shop. The place is absolutely gorgeous. The history behind every piece in that museum is insane, the lady at the front greeting once we entered the actual part of the museum was really really good. She gave a brief on what to expect and where. This place will take a full day to tour if you want to look and read everything. Maybe two. I would definitely visit this place again. Definitely recommended for every single age.

Incredible the history of Ford! It's a huge museum with lots to see. We didn't see everything as I think it would take a few days.The old locomotives were a highlight for me, as well as the cars. The presidential cars was very cool to see.I'm not a huge fan of racing but I have to admit it was very interesting yo learn about racers as athletes and seeing some powerful racing cars over the years.Another highlight was the mathematics, airplanes, and furnishings. The doll houses were incredibly beautiful and detailed.The Walt Disney costumes were also very cool to see up close. If you love fabric and costumes, I highly recommend to see the exhibit. It is only for a short while though.The food was good, some variety of sandwiches, snack food and entree meal. The ladies who work there were wonderful, very funny, and very helpful. I really enjoyed the experience and hope to go back to see what I missed!

You can easily spend the whole day here if you’re into museums. There are two nice cafes inside so you can take a break if you want. The exhibits are well maintained, but the entry fee was expensive compared to other places similar to this museum.If you want a tour of the factory, you will need to go there on a working day.

Not a car museum, but there are cars. This is an American History museum primarily... more Smithsonian-like. I have to say it's one of the best museums I've ever visited. It really is amazing what our forefathers were able to accomplish to build America. Highly recommended. Kid friendly!

Visitor from the UK wowed by this magnificent mueseum. Great variety of exhibits, but one of my favourite sections was the history of cars of all type . There was food and drink available at a couple of locations within the museum. Staff were very helpful, and all I all a memorable day buy, I will have to come back one day to catch up on anything I may have missed . Enjoy..

This was our first Holiday Night's at the Ford. It was an amazing experience. I would highly recommend it for anyone, but dress appropriately. The fireworks are shot off near the baseball field. It was a great time.

I shared a couple pictures of my highlights of this trip. It's a pretty nice place to visit. They are lacking some restaurants or places to get some real food. I visited here about 50 years ago when I was a kid and we went to a nice Italian restaurant and had spaghetti dinner. That appears to be missing in the museum now. Their displays are awesome with a lot of history of our area and Past Times. I recommend it!

Love the museum, have been a member for years! I particularly love the new racing exhibit with the racing simulators! Today we were there looking at it as a possible wedding venue, and I have to say the staff is absolutely top notch. Easy to work with, prompt with excellent follow up! The materials on there own were a little confusing but when they laid them out it was very easy to understand/ budget. Lovett hall was absolutely breathtaking, and is currently at the top of our list!

Kids had fun! We ran into a volunteer who was on break but very cheerful and conversational. It was cool to see the museum sections.... we were there for about 3 hours and only saw 2/3s of the exhibits (at kid speed). You could spend multiple days here. We got a tip to bring lunch, so didn't eat at any of the places there. Kids favorite things were the pit stop crew hands on activity, going inside the locomotive, and seeing the barnstormer planes. Adults found the JFK limo more significant than the littles.

So much to see in the museum. It will take you half a day to read through everything and walk through all the exhibit. Even a quick walk through needs about 3 hours.You learn so much on automotive, manufacturing, American history and culture, aerospace and Glass !Love all the massive locomotive engines and massive power generator. They are just massive and beautiful. Train museum is usually outside but it was nice that Henry Ford manage to put these massive engines indoorIt is a must go stop if you are in town

An excellent museum with interesting exhibits for everyone. Far from "just a car museum," it has exhibits focused on aviation, the industrial revolution, the civil rights movement, trains, and lots more.My only regret is that we only scheduled one day to visit the museum and the Greenfield Village, whereas two days would have been the minimum in retrospect.

Beautiful time had by all. Incredible collection allowing a walk through history. The staff had interesting information and stories to share about the period and life of those during that time. We have a membership. I would suggest a day for Henry Ford Museum and a day for Greenfield Village if you're not from this area. After that, you can choose if you need additional visits.

This is certainly the go-to museum in Detroit. It showcases American innovations and progress over the century, not just car-focused. You could spend at least 2 hours in the museum alone. There’s a rotating exhibit space that brings new things in to keep it fresh for returning visitors.There’s plenty to see and do, with sections on agriculture, furniture and housing, car racing, automobile production, aviation, locomotives, and more.The village portion of the grounds can add about 5 hours to your visit so come prepared!

Spectacular! You need a full day to enjoy and bring your jacket after Oct 31st!! The train usually closes at the end of October, but the Model T drive around the village is worth the money. They also have a bus, that's a great way to hear about the village. They have a horse-drawn carriage as well!!The factory tour is fantastic, with limited photography options, but it is well worth it.The museum is vast, and if you live here, that year pass is the way to go! Visitors take advantage of the different passes according to ride availability. You almost can't get through the museum and village unless you plan for the whole day!! A must-see for sure!

You could literally spend days here. It’s so unique and one of a kind. I came here every weekend as a kid in the 80s and it’s fascinating to see what is still here and what has changed.Even if you could care less about cars or trains or planes this place positions them in a way that integrates them into the progression of life in America and the impact that cars (good and bad) and the social and historical context surrounding that impact.I took my teenagers and thought they would be begging to leave but I had to drag them out at closing time.Just go.

This place is beautiful! The staff is so wonderful and friendly and helpful. You can buy tickets once you get there but if you buy them in advance, it goes faster. Elevators and stairs, bathrooms on every floor. 3 floors total. Price of tickets aren't bad either. Went to the Van Gogh exhibit, but will definitely be back to see the rest.

Good museum with a variety of collections. A variety of collections from across the world. Some areas are better represented than others in terms of history of the art from the region.Some interactive bits across the galleries for young patrons. A few more interactive moments would be nice, and would provide more talking points for groups who visit the galleries.Asia, Africa, and Hellenistic collections are good introductions to the arts. The gallery on Egypt showcases select pieces, and makes for a great introduction to the culture. Native American section represents art pieces from the south, central and north America. Residents of Wayne county have free entry on select days at the museum.

There are so many exhibits to check out. It's nice to wander in and out of rooms filled with ancient to modern items. It's a really nice collection. Make sure you have about 4 hours to see everything and grab a bite in the cafe. Lots of decent options to chose from. Parking across the street is convenient and only $7.

There is just so much to see. I could spend days just staring at the artwork. Mind you I am partial to art. We went and they had a car exhibit and they were so unique. Also seeing a real life van Gogh painting was really cool. I'd definitely go again. They also had art from Mexico, middle east, native Americans, Japan and Korea. I love international art so it was fun to look at everything. Also seeing a real life mummy was really cool but creepy to think there's a skeleton in there.

very cool place and nice to visit, there are so many different sections you can look at with very cool artifacts and such. we were able to get in for free. there are gift shops and places in there you can get food at. i honestly have no complaints, the place is very cool to go to, the building itself is very cool and with the addition of all the old things it makes the place amazing to visit.

Excellent customer service from Cameron at the entrance, which was the start of an amazing experience of artwork displayed from many eras and with famous artists and different cultures. We were there for a couple of hours and did not complete a fulltour. Looking forward to coming back. The museum’s store was full of many wonderful collections of jewelry, clothing, tableware, books and more. I thoroughly enjoyed the time there. Also the food was amazing from the courtyard.

This is truly a world-class museum. In my particular area of interest, Medieval through Baroque art, the collection is equal to the best. The Dutch and American paintings have few peers. This is an encyclopedic collection, and there are excellent Native American and Asian sections, although the Egyptian and Classical collections are not a strong point. I spent three blissful days here and didn't see everything; I'll definitely be back!

Large museum with lots to see. The exhibits don’t flow very well, so take a map to be able to follow your path if you want to make sure you see everything. Very cool cafe inside, museum architecture itself is interesting. Weekend day was not too crowded in the afternoon which was nice. $14 for adult, $8 if you’re a student, reasonable prices.

Incredible museum! This place is huge. We came right at 9am and it was great, quiet and not a lot of people until later on. It’s beautiful here and so much to see. We spent about 3 hours and still wasn’t enough to get through the whole place. The little cafe is beautiful, great spot to grab a coffee and snack while taking a break. The history here is amazing, everything is placed beautifully and tons of information. Have to come back for a full day to really take our time and enjoy!

Fantastic art museum with friendly staff members! Upon entering, I was met by an enthusiastic staff member who explained the layout of the museum to me, and then struck by the majestic Great Hall. But the highlight lied beyond the great hall - seeing Diego Rivera's Detroit Industry Murals in person was such an awe-inspiring experience! There were staff members stationed in the area, one of whom had a great chat with me surrounding my questions about the murals.The Rivera murals was not the only reason that made the visit worthwhile - I found that the museum has quite a comprehensive art collection, not just of Western art movements from medieval to modern times, but also of non-Western art. The African and Islamic galleries were pretty good-sized, although the Egyptian gallery was a bit disappointing. It would have also been nice if the museum put more thought into the re-creations of the cultures' architecture; the current re-creations seemed half-baked with artifacts combined with modern materials.Depite that, the interior architecture of the museum was quite varied and worth seeing for an architecture enthusiast. I liked the modern designs of the stairs and Prentis Court as well as the historic-comtemporary charms of Kresge Court (which very well reflects the identity of the city!).In all, I only had 2.5 hours to spend at the museum and that was only enough for an in-depth visit to about half of the galleries. A jewel and a must-visit in the city!

One of the absolute most unique and interesting collections I have ever seen. Not many public art facilities match up to DIA. It can get crowded but the staff is willing to lend knowledge even if you aren't on your. The lady that explained the Diego Rivera mural was the highlight of the day.

I am a huge museum visitor, and this collection is by far one of the best I’ve seen in the US. Not only that, but the courtyards are stunning. I only spent about five hours here and saw maybe 1/3? I recommend visiting it over two days. Enjoy lunch or drinks in the cafe- the flatbread and summer drinks were amazing.All in all, this is one of my top places to visit recently. I highly recommend.

The museum has an amazing and diverse collection. My particular favorites were the Native American, Impressionists, and Modern exhibits. And the gift shop is a collection all by itself! Amazing! I even enjoyed the curry chicken salad at their Cafe.I didn't see everything, and I'll definitely return!

One of the highlights for sure is to see the Diego Rivera mural. This mural is enormous in size and absolutely mesmerizing. This will be my second visit here and I really enjoyed both of my visits. During this last visit I had the opportunity to see a wonderful photography exhibit by James Barnor, this series followed his work from his early days of filming in black and white to his later years of using color. I enjoyed the photos so much I bought his book. I love this museum and will continue to visit it each time I pass through Michigan. Detroit is a fabulous city with much more to offer than expected and this museum is the same. Parking is easy, staff are friendly and helpful, there is a cafeteria and a indoor cafe that feels like you are in an outdoor courtyard. There is a great gift shop, beautiful building, clean bathrooms and many exhibits of all types. Whatever type of art you are interested in they have something that will satisfy! Support the arts and this community and pay a visit here and just down the street check out the modern art museum as well.

A tremendous collection of art pieces from all over the world, covering centuries of different cultures. Very impressive and certainly a “good deal” for the cost of entry.I would knock off 0.5 stars if it were possible, simply because the layout of the rooms becomes very confusing and you may end up missing some exhibits because you almost get lost on the floors.Wish the flow was just a bit better organized…

This place is really impressive. You don't really get a feel for exactly how tall this monument is, until you are standing underneath of it looking up. It was a shame that we weren't able to go up to the observation deck, as out time was short, and the line for the elevator was way too long. What an awesome view the property offers though. Truly an honorable memorial for Perry. Next time we come, we will make it a point to ride up to the top. I'm sure that the view is breathtaking

I didn't know anything about this memorial until we were on the island and to discover the history behind it was informative and interesting. Unfortunately the elevator was down and we were not able to go to the top, which I'm sure provides breathtaking views. It was still amazing to go into the rotunda and see the inscriptions inside.

A must visit place in Put-In Bay. The view from the top of the observatory was awesome! The park rangers were friendly and helpful. The ticket to the top of the tower was $10 for adults. It takes around a minute in a classic old elevator to reach the top. The rangers will be there to explain the brief history. In the top there are information boards and also the guards who can explain the view and the information about the islands in sight.

If you want the most fantastic view of the island, you can only go here. It has an elevator to the top to see the whole surrounding islands and area. The monument has great information in the visitor center that tells you all about the battle, history, and the people involved. It is run by park service folk that will answer any of your questions and are friendly and professional. It is also one of the taller monuments in all of the United States. It truely is a beautiful monument, view, and amazing part of history.

We enjoyed our visit to the memorial but were disappointed that the elevator is out of service due to a lightning strike. I was at the top years ago and it offers a great view far across the lake. Nice visitors center with information on the battle of Lake Erie during the War of 1812. There is actually six officers, three American and three British that are buried under the monument itself. When we were there, two people were dressed as a British officer and sailor and gave a demonstration of firing war-era flintlocks.

Great views from the top! Inside the moment there's a nice history of the monument and the area. It's right next to the Lake Erie shoreline so it's very scenic.

Great memorial! Love the views you get of the different islands, Canada and Lake Erie as a whole!The park rangers were very nice and I was impressed with their knowledge of history!My only complaint is that I wish you didn’t have to reserve a date or time but that’s all! Highly recommend you stop here, it’s worth the time and money!

This whole time I thought it was a lighthouse. I am so glad we checked it out. First National Park I've been to as well! Slowly connecting the dots of America's history, all the lessons that were crammed into a semester of middle school, remembering only enough to pass a test. It's so much more to see it in person and from a place of genuine interest. The NPS has done a great job. I hope to visit many more National Parks to fill up my passport.

Didn't even knew this peace memorial existed until our day trip to put in bay. Highly recommend! Don't forget your park pass, it will get you free admission to the top of the monument. Learned some from history about the war of 1812 and how lake eerie was a part of it.

This tower and museum is the best thing to do in Put-in Bay, other than water sports and spending time in parks. The view from the top is great. A must visit.

We had an absolutely AWESOME visit to the Perry's Monument during our recent visit to Ohio. I brought my daughters to see where I grew up as a kid, and hadn't been to the top of the monument in about 15 years. The Park Rangers were so professional and welcoming! We were pleasantly surprised when our interagency pass that we earned from being retired disabled military veterans, admitted our whole family. Thank you all for such a memorable visit!

I never tired of Cedar Point as a kid, and now it’s my turn to make those memories with my kiddos. We have been pass holders for years. From the kiddos being younger, there was tons of enjoyment for them in Snoopy Land and Kiddy Kingdom. To now then being older and finally riding 48” rides. They are already excited for the next few years to hit the last milestone of the 56” rides. Lots of memories to last ours and their lifetime! There is something for everyone!!Lots of restaurant choices. I do how we highly suggest the Dining pass or plan (depending if daily visit or pass holder) you absolutely get your monies worth and won’t be disappointed either!If you visiting for the day as well, the fast lane plus is a great add on, to make sure you get the best bang for the day. Also the all day refill cups, fillips available every 15 minutes.Younger, older, kids, no kids. You won’t be disappointed!!

Went here for my senior trip, and it was a great experience!There was quite a bit of good things at cedar point. It had quite a huge variety of rides for both beginners and coaster enthusiasts in general. It also has classic activists for a park, such as a merry-go-round and bumper cars, both of which are really fun.It also has a really cool arcade to visit when you’re wanting time between rides. Wait times can be long at times, but for the most part are fair and can be avoided with fast lane.With the lake nearby, you can cool off too if you have trunks. The pools/hot tubs are also great to visit inbetween!My only irk in general is the prices. Most food spots in the premises are grossly overpriced, 20 dollars for things that would cost only 10 outside of the park. Drinks are also super expensive and not worth it.Overall the park is really fun and I’d love to visit in the future to ride more rides. I loved the maverick as my first roller coaster, and j can’t wait to go on more!

Great price with the Summer season pass ($100). I was in town for a week and opted for this option. Parking was included.Great assortment of ride for all ages and the park was not too busy during the week mid June.I’m from FL and have been to all the parks in Orlando/Tampa. It is nice to have fewer people than at Disney plus this park is great for coasters!Food options are good but the price is what you would expect. If you plan on 10am-10pm day I would do the meal pass.

Halloween weekend was fun. Many people, every game was with a least 1.5 hour wait but they were all worth it. Food is good, highly recommend buying the ticket+food bundle if you are planning to stay there for lunch and dinner.

It was a great experience for me and my friends. It is a huge amusem*nt park and it is impossible not to have fun. We had unlimited fun with the gold pass and can enter the park whenever we want. I do not recommend you to go on the weekend because the queues are very long for great roller coasters such as Steel Vengeance, Maverick and Millennium Force. In short, it was a great day.

Visited for the first time this year. Officially my favorite place in the world ever. I’m a roller coaster enthusiast, and have been wanting to visit since the days of Millennium Force being built. I hyped myself for it for 21 years, and it still surpassed my expectations massively. All the rides were over the top epic. My entire top 10 got thrown into madness, as nearly every ride I went on was dethroning a coaster from somewhere else. That back row night ride of Steel Vengeance for my first ever ride was basically life changing, not even a ride, it was a full blown life experience. Fast passes were worth it, got to do every major coaster multiple times. The park doesn’t even look real as you are approaching, but rather some person’s roller coaster tycoon creation. The park was clean, even smelled good. The food was excellent. I will return every year for the rest of my life.

We traveled here from the Dallas area for my son‘s birthday. He is a roller coaster fanatic. This place did not disappoint!Plenty of roller coasters to make everyone in your family happy, from mild to wild!Steel Vengeance was our favorite, followed by Millennium Force.The park was kept exceptionally clean, and we always felt safe.The safety protocols for each ride were interesting to watch. Rides go “down” frequently, and the procedures to bring them back online takes some time.We stayed at one of the Park hotels and got one hour early entry, also a wristband for unlimited sodas throughout the day.

Cedar Point is one of the greatest places to visit for all members of the family! It is a coaster enthusiast's dream ( 17 in all ), great rides of all kinds for the rest of the family, and really good entertainment. The food choices were also top notch! They also have a pretty nice water park for the hotter days. I would give Cedar Point 10 out of 10 stars, a must place to visit! The beach on Lake Erie was also great! Sand was so soft and felt good between the toes! Beautiful!!

Go mid-week, arrive early and wear comfortable clothes. The park was very clean and well staffed, but some rides were closed intermittently. The park has every type of ride you can imagine! The quality of the food was awesome. Purchase the dining plan and share with a friend. Camp Snoopy rides were great for small kids. Gift shops were expensive - but the merchandise is well made. We will be back next year for two days!

The best place on the planet. The ride choices are non ending, steel vengeance, millennium force, and although Maverick is completely overrated, it is still good. The 1-2 punch with Vengeance and Maverick is great considering they are right next door. Every time I come here I have a blast, but is it better than Kings Island? It's close.

Always a great place for fun. Plenty of rides, shows, games, beach activities and food options. There is something for everyone here at this park. Been here hundreds of times since I was a kid and every single visit is uniquely different. The best park in the world, but I’m also incredibly biased.

Wow! What a place!This really is the roller coaster capital of the world! And they are all SO good: Fast, Smooth, Fun!They have many dining options; my only complaint is they do not have an allergen list online, as places, such as Disney World, have.We go at least 4 times every year and have invested in a gold pass; they are so worth it!Personally, my favorite ride is Millennium Force, don't be afraid! Be sure to give it a shot!Very clean, maintained well, and have beautiful landscaping! And be sure to visit for Halloweekends! They have everything decorated to the nines! It's amazing! 😍P.S. A pro tip from someone who goes every year: Do not go expecting short lines! Be ready to wait and have patience!Enjoy the 42 photos I took! 😃

It’s fun for the whole family. Rides for all ages. Many, many roller coasters. Don’t think you can finish all rides in one day. Rides are fairly close to each other which could save some time. Park was kept clean but restrooms needed some attention.

We went on a Sunday mid summer expecting long wait lines with the regular tickets and were surprised to find relatively short wait lines! Steel Vengeance and Maverick were both just over an hour at peak day, but otherwise the large coasters were about a half hour wait and we were able to go on them a couple times each! We also had the all day dining wristband for $79 each which included parking and park entry, which gives the ability to eat a meal every 90 minutes. I had $18 at Panda Express and a $16 burrito bowl included with the dining pass, paid for itself quickly considering I didn't have to pay $30 to park!

I took the kids up for two days at Cedar Point for one last fling before school started. The three of us had such a good time. I highly recommend staying at Breakers Hotel in Cedar Point. It was so convenient to be able to just walk over to the park or back to the hotel to take a break throughout the day.

Great park, great rides. Free parking is great.One thing to keep in mind, get Fast Lane Passes if you are able to afford them, definitely a time saver. My boys were able to ride 7 roller coasters with those passes in 1 hr and 10 min - and that's on a Saturday right before a Labor Day.

Absolutely had the best time at Cedar Point, it’s not your stereotypical Amusem*nt park, in my opinion, it’s better! So many rides for all ages and even for those with physical disabilities. The wait times were not bad, longest wait we actually decided to endure was 45 minutes. There were some rides with 60+ minute wait time and we just did not go there. Cedar Point has a wonderful app where one can see wait times and closures of rides in real time, as long as one is in the park. I highly recommend downloading the app, it helps not just for the rides but also to store tickets and one’s parking location. Lockers are available to rent and leave one’s belongings, but I found that each ride has a storage bin and one can leave one’s things there while riding and they are fine. Of course the park is not responsible in case someone does steal one’s things, but I found it to be very secure in the park.There are many places to eat and one very convenient thing to prepay is an all day or all season cup. With the cup, one can refill every 15 minutes at any of the refreshment areas, there are co*ke products only. There’s also all day dining options, at that point one can eat every 90 minutes, but in my opinion that is not worth it. The drink special definitely is worth it as one has to stay hydrated. The price of the ticket is definitely worth it and if one lives nearby, I say, get a season pass!

No new rides to speak of this year, and the Top Thrill Dragster has been decommissioned, however that thing has been mostly nonfunctional for years. Cedar Point still the best amusem*nt park around by quiet some distance. Ticket prices here are very reasonable to. If you're from Michigan you can get a whole family of 4 in for the price of 1 addition ticket to Disney :)Went on Saturday in late August, and lines are very reasonable, even Millennium Force was only 40 minutes. We got on every ride that we wanted to do with a few hours to spare. Also recommend the food pass. If you're going to eat at least twice it will pay for itself.

Worth visiting! Very cool location with a fun atmosphere. We loved most everything we got. Especially all the items we got from the various bakery’s! Unfortunately, most of the produce we bought was old. Our garlic was sprouted, once I got home and cut into it, and the ginger molded with in a day. Neat experience, but I wasn’t super impressed.

We stopped here because everyone said it was one of the places you HAD to see. The parking is limited but if you arrive early you should be fine. The first 90 minutes are free to park. The fruit and produce area was pretty small. The main area had the bakeries, meat counters, and international products. We got a chicken pasty at the Irish deli, and it was really good. If you have the time, you can find the best prices.

A former train station turned into a market full of local vendors slinging meats and sweets.After your drive over the Hope Memorial Bridge, you turn right into the parking lot. The first 90 minutes are free and it’s only $1/hour after that. A welcome surprise.You’ll first walk into the produce building with vendors selling their tantalizing fruits and hearty vegetables. Once you make it halfway down the corridor, you will see doors to your left to crossover to the rest of the market.Walking in through the double doors, you are greeted by intoxicating aromas. Look up and you will see the beautiful, high ceiling of the former train station. The place is absolutely packed with local meats and sweets. Many of the vendors sell raw meat and fish for your home cooking needs, while the rest provide ready to order snacks and meals.Stalls that caught our eye: local pasta, crepes, hot sauce, cannolis, gyro stand and an Irish bakery. We split up and grabbed a gyro from Steven’s Gyros (featured on Man versus Food) and a sausage roll and meat pie from the Irish bakery. There aren’t many places to sit, but if you go to the west end, you can head up the stairs and get a great view of the market. We stuffed our faces, got a picture and then headed down to grab snacks for the rest of the weekend. We loaded up on local cheese, flavored beef jerky, hot sauce and baked goods. All of which were sensational.

This was my first experience at West Side Market. So many Vendors under one roof. It was Awesome. Every person in the market from the people working to the visitors in the market were extremely nice. It was crowded but a good crowd it added to the fun experience. I look forward to going back.

This was genuinely one of the nicest markets I’ve ever been to! Very good prices on a huge variety of specialty and regular items. The produce looked almost too good to be real. A last stop before headed home on a weekend trip was perfect to bring home a lot of goodies. Delicious cannolis and pepperoni bread from Theresa’s bakery, perfect scratch made pasta from Ohio city pasta, home made beef jerky and more!! I’m considering making the trip from Pittsburgh more often just to stop here again!

This place was really cool! Lots of vendors and I loved the fresh market. I wish we had something like this in Columbus with the same produce selection! The downside is that if you’re vegetarian there isn’t really anywhere to have lunch on site. That would have really made it.Also there are full animal carcasses on display so if you are squeamish or cannot handle that I wouldn’t recommend

What a fantastic market. We spent the weekend in Cleveland visiting family and decided to check out this market. Only wish we lived closer to this place! Everything is so fresh and can do just about all your shopping in one place with local vendors. Lots of free samples everywhere too if you are undecided on something! It was a great experience.

Enjoyed the West Side market. Haven't been here in years. Everything in the area is so different but I'm glad that this lil gem is still there and hope that more local vendors continue the tradition. Prices were competitive. Some vendors allow you to even try some of the fruits. Like the fact that you can select the specific pieces of meats you want to purchase. Would go again.

MAKE SURE you go to the covered meat and cheese market! Delicious cheese. Try the truffle goat cheese from one of the vendors! We bought Amish smoked pepper, jack cheese, cheddar and blue cheese cake, Horseradish cheese etc.Fruit and vegetable stalls outside also covered. Free parking 90 minutes. $1 after that after that.

This was a pretty cool place. Fruit and vegetable vendors, bakers with fresh bread and yummy looking desserts, fish mongers, cheese seller's and meat vendors with sausages and other products. We bought fresh bread, sausages and canoli. Parking was free for the first 90 minutes. We were there about an hours because everyone had free samples.

Great market!! Lots of selections of fruit 🍓🍑 and veggies 🥕🥗. Plenty of vendors with meat and cheese, bakeries 🥯 with amazing fresh bread 🍞 and sweets 🍭. We stopped at the Gyro place, far left corner of the market, and enjoyed the most delicious, large gyro! Wow the house tzatziki sauce was so good! Makes you want to bottle it up and bring it home. So good. We got the regular size Gyro and it was big. We ended up having lunch again the next day with the leftovers. All the produce looked fresh, we got some local strawberries 🍓🍑. Great selection of cheese and meat. Hard to decide what to get when it all looks so good. Would recommend going there. If you are staying in the area for a few days (that's what we did) and get your food here.

We try to go here whenever we are in Cleveland (we live 2 hrs away). There is so much good food here. It's always easy to find something new and unique. As an Englishman, my favorite vendor is Reilly's. They have great Irish pies, pasties and sausage rolls. Plus their scones are spot on.

This was a really fun market to explore! There are so many shops to visit with plenty of ready to eat and "make at home" or grocery options. We enjoyed getting crepes, donuts, and a scotch egg, but if we visit again there would be so many more things to try. We were just passing through so we didn't grab meet or other to cook ingredients, but everything looked delicious. The building was beautiful as well.

Gorgeous historic market. The building itself is enough of a reason to visit. Add in all the wonderful vendor options and you could make a day of it. As we were visiting from out of town, we grabbed some pastries and coffee beans to enjoy later! Highly recommend a visit if you are in the Cleveland area.

I love Rock & Roll Hall of Fame! One of the largest collections of music memorabilia in the world. It was incredible to see so many cool items from the most influential artists and musicians of all time! Michael Jackson's Thriller jacket, Bob Marley's famous beanie, The Beatles' suits, Elvis' motorcycle and so much more! We heard displays are constantly changing so you may not always see these things, plan a visit soon! We arrived on a Saturday at 4pm and had only one hour to make it through this museum. We were on a mission! The woman at the front desk told us the best place to start was in the basem*nt to see their most impressive displays and then work our way up by elevator. We were able to see all six floors in an hour! I definitely recommend spending more time if possible, however you can see a lot in a short amount of time. Pictures and videos are allowed. Make sure to stop at the gift shop on the way out. There are so many fun things to buy as souvenirs or gifts. Credit cards only no cash accepted. Parking was easy to find across the street. Tickets are mobile and can be purchased at at kiosk right inside the entrance. Don't leave Cleveland without visiting this museum!

I highly recommend stopping by the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame if you’re in Cleveland! This place was filled with Rock and Roll history along with some fun interactive things to do. I would say this is good for individuals, couples or families with older children. It is a bit of walking and a lot of looking at exhibits, which a young child or baby may be tired of after 20 minutes. To truly enjoy it, I would give yourself a good two hours at minimum. The price was great for everything you get to see at only $35, and less than that for children. The staff were very friendly and the museum was clean.

All of the exhibits were excellent. From the start of rock and roll all the way through rap and hip hop. I enjoyed this museum very much. I definitely would say you can do this in less than 2 hours. I would compare it to the Grammy in LA. Tickets are a bit pricey for a museum but it was very cool to see everything. Parking is ok and not super expensive.

We totally enjoyed the R&RHoF! The garage band area and beats lab were absolutely a blast. Numerous displays and floors of music memorabilia made the 3 hours fly by. Be sure to check out the show on the 3rd floor too.Our teenage boys particularly said that they wished we had more time there! Definitely worth checking out with reasonable parking down by the water.

We stopped in to check out the Rock and Ro Hall of Fame on a Friday around noon. I ordered our tickets online before entering ( which made the entry faster) if you can do this it won't be a big deal to get tickets at the gate. We parked on the pier. This made finding and paying for parking super easy. The pier parking behind the building to the right upon entering, just drive past the building and you will see the parking. Once inside we started on the 1st floor and worked our way up them all. So many cool things to look at and activities to do I recommend at least 3-4 hrs to explore on a not busy day. Highly recommend the induction experience on the 3d floor. My favorite part... well I can't pick just one part. The Pink Floyd installation definitely the most interesting design. The tour ends in the merchandise store, so save that for last. Everything was reasonably priced. We picked up 4 shirts for the family on sale for $45.00 cool dollars.

This museum was great! It a total of about 6 levels. There is so much history and amazing talent that is presented in this museum. Zero floor is basically the main exhibit. There are also additional floor one floor you can customize a band name logo and print your logo at no additional charge. There is also a area where you can play the guitar live with videos on how to play a couple drums sets and more! Definitely worth a visit! The staff and team members are also very friendly!

PRO TIPS: by far one of the most impressive collections of music memorabilia ever assembled. HOWEVER the museum layout for FIRST TIME VISITORS can be quite confusing. You actually enter the Hall of Fame on Level 1. Then travel paths want you to start your tour downstairs on Level 0 (which is the BAsem*nT featuring the larger collection of exhibits). THEN you'll see travel paths which force you to head upto Levels 3, 4, 5, & 6, then finally down to end on level 2 with a final exit through the gift shop on Level 1 at the end of your tour. Confused? HOWEVER MY RECOMMENDED TRAVEL PATH IS (especially with large crowds OR weekend visits): Try starting out on Level 2 (take the elevator) & work your way up the pyramidto avoid the crowds. BUT always end your tour on the impressive Level 0 which is in the basem*nt featuring the most exhibits. SAVE LEVEL ZERO FOR LAST!!!! There is actually an online exhibit guide to help plan your tour prior to arrival. Plan for 2-3 hours if you like rock music. Also lower your expectations as you will not see many artists memorabilia since exhibits rotate in/out. ALSO many artists are not in the Hall of Fame (as of this review) including Phish, B52's, Kate Bush, Weird Al, etc.

This is such a fun place to visit in Cleveland. It's in a very clean area of the city. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is fun because it gives you all the feels plus offers hands-on entertainment. My 3 year old and 15 year old had a great time, and so did my husband and I. There were turntables, guitars, drums, sound proof rooms, pinball machines etc. Truly, something for everyone.

Loved our experience here and seeing all the history of music under one roof was a great experience. They have many interactive experiences there to do as well, which made the experience interactive if you are interested in such things. Many unique and historic items related to music as as well. A must go for any music fan. Staff was friendly and areas kept very clean

Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, while famous, large, and full of music history, was not my cup of tea. While I appreciate all the hard work put into this museum, I found it confusing. The general layout wasn't clear and the signage was miniscule.For the price of $25 pp, I think the museum was well worth it. We were there for 2 1/2 hours and believe we could have explored for a few more hours.

Awesome display of artifacts and memorabilia beginning with the onset of music history (blues, country and gospel) through rock and roll era, into pop, r&b grunge, rap, hip hop, heavy metal. Several interactive displays. In the front of the building are food trucks and 2 stages where local talent perform and you can watch for free. No parking lot so I suggest parking at the great lakes science museum garage located between museum and browns stadium. Only 13 dollars to park.

I love a good museum, and like Joan Jett I love Rock and Roll. This was absolutely the best museum I’ve been to in the US. We spent about 5 hours here and I think we saw it all. Highlights were definitely the first couple floors, but the trip to the top was still worth it. The boy minor disappointment was the movie on the third floor, which had some great highlights but was too disjointed to tell a compelling story. If you can make it while the Beatles display is still going, I’d highly recommend it. There are really great portions that will be hard to replace. I’m not from this area but will return in the future just to see what’s been added!

We went here after a work function and we had only a few hours to enjoy. I was asked a few times if I would come back. If people wanted to go I would go but it wouldn't be a repeat on my own. They had really cool displays and mini theaters to show you rock footage. They have assorted interactive booths so you can make your own band t-shirt, a music mix, and even learn how to play instruments. I thought that was very cool. Next time I need to keep an extra eye out for queen, rush, and black sabbath.

We went for the Battle Of the Bands. It was a great concert with some really good talent. We were able to walk through all the exhibits. It was very interesting. You could listen to music, and see some amazing outfits and there was even an area where you could try playing piano, guitar, bass, and drums. My 16-year-old and my 7-year-old loved it.There were escalators for all the floors and an elevator. There were couches, benches, and tables for anyone who needed to take a break. There was a little Cafe for food and drinks. Overall I would recommend it to anyone who loves music.

A unique experience every time I go! It's never the same display. So that makes it fun. Tickets are mobile entry at $30 each. Discount for seniors, kids, etc. 6 floors of activities. Food court has reasonable prices. Gift shop is gull of fun gifts at reasonable prices. Anyone can take home something! Wheelchair and stroller accessible by elevator. Staff was welcoming.

If you live in the city, it’s free. Otherwise, it’s $35..but here’s a tip: If you buy a membership for 2, you’ll pay $75. That $5 more than two tickets, plus you get a tee shirt and 10% discount in the gift shop. And it’s good for a year…take anybody you want! Always fun, I’ve seen some great exhibits and changes over the years. The Beatles exhibit was “fab!” It’s a great way to spend an afternoon and through August’22, concerts on the patio certain nights. Have fun and rock on!

This is such a cool museum! Going in you get a sense of a fun party atmosphere. Lots of music history here for fans of Rock, Blues, Metal, Hip-Hop. I paid $35 for a ticket online as I was walking towards the front entrance. I showed the person at the main door and got a wrist band after she scanned my ticket. Then she directed me to start one level lower. I highly recommend this place for music lovers.

Being a rock vocalist, it was a necessity to visit here while vacationing in Ohio. It's a cool place both inside and outside so take your time when visiting. Many of the exhibits are focused on rock & roll, of modern and classic bands and individuals as well. Pretty cool gift shop on premises as well and a lot of music history in these walls. All in all it was a great experience.

I have wanted to come here for a long time and it totally lived up to expectation! I loved the flow of exhibits bringing you around and to different floors. The history of everything was interesting to read and then getting to dive into exhibits on certain artists. Price of admission was well worth the time and spent about 2.5 hours there without seeing any of the films, so perhaps budget a full afternoon. Purchase a ticket online for easier entry

All I can say is Wow! This was a bucket list trip and soooooo worth it! What a great museum. We spent about 4-1/2 hours there and probably my favorite part was being able to pick and choose what induction clips you wanted to see of your favorite artists. The displays and the exhibits are second to none. Very well put together and I really loved the interactiveness of it all. You just have to add this as a place to go if you haven’t been. INCREDIBLE

My husband and I visited the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame during our trip to Cleveland. We conveniently parked at the metered parking across the street. There was plenty of spots available when we arrived but we could see how close parking may be challenging during high traffic visiting times or when there is a game at the nearby stadium.Tickets were $35 a person. We had no trouble buying them at the door.The museum has 6 floors. The bottom floor has the most to see and is the most impressive of them all. The other floors felt a bit lacking compared to this one, especially if you aren't interested in watching mini films they share throughout the museum.On the second floor, known as The Garage, you can try your hand at playing a variety of instruments using video tutorials as a guide. This was a great interactive option to enjoy during our visit!This is a great spot for all music lovers to enjoy while visiting the Cleveland area!

It’s not bad for what it is; it’s a casino in the heart of the one and only Cleveland. I go here every now and then as I do enjoy gambling a bit. The casino itself is huge inside with several floors. It’s relatively clean for the most part and quite pleasing to the eye. I like going because they offer a buffet in the basem*nt floor that I always get free coupons for, so that’s always a nice addition. I don’t think the food is anything super crazy or world renowned, but it’s good for when you have a free coupon. Their drinks at the bars though always seem to be hit or miss; some bartenders make it perfectly, and other bartenders just miss it awfully. That’s obviously not a make or break point though. 4/5 for a casino. I like going here.

The place was packedIt seems everyone I sat next to all said the same thing. Why does MGM pay so well and Jack does not. They are closer to Jack where they live, but are now willing to drive further to win. Oh, we all win something, but not for what we spend. The food in the buffet at Jack is never the same twice. The only thing that is the same is the fried chicken. It is always over fried and you can't eat it. What a waste of money. Why feed us food we can't eat. The salad bar has a wonderful selection. However it is nasty most of the time. Especially the salad dressing. People slop it all over, and no one cleans it up. Soup is good. Granted, we are the ones who slop it up, Sorry. I just don't like eating food where the food area is nasty.

This place is awesome. It is connected to Tower City Mall. It has a hotel there as well. They serve food. A full buffet that runs brunch and dinner. Everything is served fresh. This place also has a great service. Some of the workers that work there have been there from the beginning. 6 years it's been around.

This was our first trip here. The gaming experience was actually pretty good! It did let us play enjoyably for about an hour without just taking our money like most other casinos tend to do. However, the 4 stars were deducted because, not being familiar with the area, we found the first entrance to the parking garage and did not realize it was the "flat rate parking" that costs $60 regardless of how long you stay. SERIOUSLY? $60?? We were there for an hour and 10 minutes! There should definitely be some prominent signage specifying that it's flat-rate ($60) parking. Not only did we toss away money while gaming, but the parking also hit us pretty hard. Definitely won't recommend the parking garage!!

Jack Casino has great restaurants, including a fantastic buffet. They have roulette tables, craps tables, poker tables and lots of different slot machines. The facility is extremely clean, glitzy and flashy. It is really just like a Vegas casino. There are multiple levels too. They have a covered walkway that goes over the streets and leads directly into their parking garage. Their gift shop, which is called the Swag Shop is also in the same building as the parking garage. Years ago, the building was previously home to the Higbee Department store. The decor is very high end and tastefully done. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. They do a wonderful job. Well done.

I went around 1pm the staff was super helpful it was my first time in a casino and they made me feel welcomed from the security guard who is so funny at the front door to Evris the machine mechanic who showed me the ropes told me everything I needed to know he went went above and beyond even walked me to the desk to get my Jack card where I met Linda who is a doll and helped me soooo much EVERYONE please go to this casino its such a vibe.

I'm a senior. My friends and I thought the buffet was $5,55 if we validated our players card. We waited in line for 30 minutes to find out that information. To validate we would have to get out of line, so we paid $20.00 each. Paid $60.00 to get out the garage. Same reason, we didn't validate. I will not be going back. Bought experience is the best kind 😌

I was in town from Atlanta to attend the Alpha Derby at the Browns Stadium and the after party was at Jack's. I haven't had so much fun, and to see my college brothers and sisters was Amazing! The most gorgeous casino I’ve ever been to. Glad everything isn’t card- or phone-based and can still insert cash directly into the machines. I love just taking $40 and playing slots and/or roulette and then, heading home having lost $40 or having won a bit.

The staff was extremely friendly. We felt so accommodated. You never want to lose money but this casino made us feel like we were home. The buffet was very good and we had a blast.

Awesome spot. The games were fun. The tables had great options. Many floors to explore. Indoor smoking area is available. AND a sports viewing section that feels like a theatre. So cool!

We had a wonderful time at the Akron Zoo! From the moment we walked in the door the staff were so nice and helpful with our membership gift certificate we had. The were really kind and engaging with my 8yo son. It was a hot day so some of the exhibits the animals were hunkered in the shade but by the afternoon things had cooled off so we were able to see almost all the animals being active. The zoo is so walkable that going back to an exhibit is very easy. Definitely looking forward to going back!

One of the nicest zoos we've ever been too. Not to big, not to small. The aquarium exhibits were super healthy. The landscaping was another plus. My favorite part was feeding the goats, they have these large crackers you can purchase such a clean way to feed them.

We went to the Akron Zoo for my grand daughters 4th birthday 🎂. It was a chilly and drizzly evening. We rented 2 of the ride on animals for the kids. The bears and wolves and some other animals were out. The Christmas lights were beautiful! We had so much fun!

Nice, quaint zoo, which allows you to see animals a little closer than other zoos. Very unique selection of animals as well. Went on a winter day, so it wasn't very crowded, which probably helped. But very solid experience for the price. Will be back.

My family loves this zoo! It’s smaller in size compared to Cleveland but good for little ones. We got free passes from our local library which made it even better. Workers were friendly & doing a good job cleaning & maintaining everything. There are quite a few animals to see (lions,bear,snow leopard,penguins,lemurs & gibbons were my favorites)

Great experience with the family. Has plenty of ADA access. A wide variety of animals from different parts of the world with lots of educational information on the species and natural habitats.Cafe was great, we all loved the chicken tenders, and their salad was a VERY generous portion.We attended the Boo at the Zoo event, it was very well executed and organized.

1st time going and I absolutely loved it. It is smaller then the cleveland zoo and really directed towards young kids. Having a 1.5 year old he enjoyed it and all the exhibits were low to the ground. I think if adult kids went they might he bored after a while.Great Cafe, cute zoo.

Absolutely the best. Hands down 100% better than the Cleveland Zoo. Clean, full of animals to see, Aquarium included. Only 9$ + parking. Takes about 2+hours to see it all. Well laid out, and easy access for everyone. More animals than Cleveland, now that Cleveland Zoo is in such disrepair. The animals are all out, happy and playful. ☆ only downside the food is nasty, undercooked and over priced, just bring snacks and water with you.

What a wonderful zoo! It is the perfect size for little kids. You can take a packed lunch or enjoy the food in the Komodo Cafe. The carousel is beautiful. There is a place where you can buy snacks for the goats and even pet them. When the weather is warm, there is a small train for kids to enjoy. There is even a VR ride that you can go on. And you can go down a slide that runs through the otter exhibit. The gift shop is very nice as well.The staff is really nice. They were very diligent with keeping the park clean.There are extra fees for the carousel, VR ride, train, and feeding the goats. You can also rent motorized carts that look like animals. They also offer up close encounters with some of the animals. Those fees are listed on their website, and a staff member can also tell you about them.

Akron Zoo has made a lot of improvements around the park for a fun walking experience. Always love coming here with my daughter as we can get through the zoo in about 3-3.5hours

We love the Akron Zoo. Disappointed today after for passes electronically on advance had to wait in the regular admission line just to get in. It was a beautiful day, crowded with lots of little kids as expected. I'm going to say half the animals weren't out. I know this varies according to weather (and avian flu the zoo is having to deal with), but walking from empty viewing area to empty viewing area is sad for little kids.

The zoo is beautiful. It is small enough that younger kids will be able to walk the whole zoo. It feels like you can get closer to the animals. My kids LOVED the otter slide and the otter seemed to have just as much fun swimming around the slide. Most of the birds weren't out because of the avian flu but we did see a couple of them.

Medium sized zoo that took 2 hours to go through. Only a couple exhibits were closed for renovations etc. You paid for parking inside and it was kinda pointless since you didn't put the receipt in your car so it was just free money for them unless you left and came back. There were staff at the popular exhibits to give facts and teach about the animals. There was a good amount of shade at viewing areas and then the aquatic animals so it wasn't too miserable in the sun. The gardens were out of bloom but had potential to be beautiful in the summer. Plenty of seating and random exercise posts in the park I saw one family doing. Extra money is needed to feed goats (($1 a cracker) and ride the train.

This was actually our first visit to the Akron Zoo! I wasn't really prepared as a last minute decision to stop after an appointment at Akron Children's. I would have had sunscreen, extra frozen water bottles, snacks, hats, & water spray fans. There are a lot of nice areas to sit, relax and enjoy throughout the zoo, so we rushed a bit to get through it. Be prepared. Lots of school field trips when we first got there with kids running, screaming and sitting in display areas with little interest in the actual animals. They cleared out and we were able to enjoy most of the exhibits. The architecture and design was really nice, very different from the Cleveland zoo. The otter exhibit with the slide was really fun for the kids. Overall I'd say it was a really good experience, as Cleveland zoo members we only paid like $20, which made it well worth the cost of admission. We'll just be sure to be more prepared next time, so we can spend more time!

We love this zoo! Good selection of animals, it's a clean facility, there's an aquarium... Just a really nice place to spend an afternoon. The LEMURS and RED PANDAS are the best. If you live within a short drive I'd recommend the yearly pass. Pays for itself in a few visits and it's good for 12 months.

If you haven't been to the Akron zoo yet, you definitely need to get it on your bucket list and put it down as a priority.Hands down, this is such a relaxing, peaceful place to spend any day. Alone, or with family and/ or friends.It's never overly crowded, it's affordable and easy parking and entering.Not only well maintained animal exhibits with fun and interactive walkways, but beautiful garden areas with many Ohio native plants that help to sustain local wildlife and our pollinators.

1st time going to this zoo. It was an amazing experience! We loved the layout!! I highly recommend checking this zoo out! It may be a smaller zoo, but it's definitely worth the experience! We really enjoyed the Wild Lights exhibit!

The staff sang Happy Birthday and presented me with birthday cake and ice cream. 🍰 🎈If you love apple pie or strudel get some with vanilla bean ice cream with warm caramel topping. 😋Cece was our server who made sure we felt special and catered to. Well done. She is truly a people person.

This was a great place and my first time visiting. The food at the bar was delicious and the drinks were great. Although I'm not a gambler the slots were really fun. Can't wait to go back.

I'm not a gambler; I went to the MGM Northfield Center Stage to see Gary Clark, Jr. - AMAZING concert with an unforgettable performance from him! I was able to grab great seats for this event and it was money well spent. The staff was very organized and helpful and the stage itself allowed for great first/second row visibility without too much neck strain or discomfort.The ONLY reason why I can't give it five stars is because of the seat spacing: we were packed in there like sardines. Even though the seats themselves were comfortable the neighboring concertgoers and myself all had to shift ourselves a bit too often to accommodate for the lack of space.

This Buffet just opened up about 4 weeks ago. The selection of good is really fantastic and was beyond our expectations. The chefs were amazing, and they knew their food selection really well, and when you they explained it to you in detailChef Red by far is the best at this buffet and has excellent cooking skills and customer service

Fantastic show and food. Went to see a comedian Tom Sugura. Best show of all his specials. Absolutely hilarious the entire time.

Went to see Tom Jones Concert. Seats are basically folding chairs and somewhat narrow. They do not control the crowd as we had lots of people up and down the aisle throughout the performance. The casino area is small but definitely has lots of tables and slots.

I'm not a big casino person, but the club is beautiful and many beautiful people were there. I attended with a friend the Chaka Khan concert. The staff treated us well and security was very visible. The concert ended without a hitch. For the casino part, the casino has all the expected amenities and get this--free parking!

Concert/event venue located directly inside of the casino. Purchased last minute tickets to a concert I really wanted to see. This was our first time at this venue. The security and staff directed the crowd through the various site safety measures with ease. There really was not a bad seat in the house. Here are some pics from our seating - section 2 row X. Seats were a little tight and you will certainly make friends with a neighbor pretty quickly. Lots of getting up and sitting down. Narrow isles. Alcohol, water and typical concert snacks were available. Free parking.

Always a fun place to gamble. This casino does NOT have card tables, just slots. Has a couple restaurants, a bar, and complimentary coffee and soda. Plenty of parking, the parking lot is lit up pretty good at night. As always casinos are designed to take your money, but you do get lucky once in a while.

What a phenomenal experience. We had such a blast here. It is a super nice place, well laid out displays, plenty of room to move around and interact with displays. It has 3 floors with elevators if needed. Seats are spaced out occasionally to take a break. Nice little cafe at the end. All the employees from the front desk to the store were simply wonderful, very welcoming. Great experience I would recommend to anyone.

A little on the pricey side but….Oh man, my trip to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Ohio was EPIC! From the moment I walked in, it was all good vibes. The staff was super friendly and made me feel right at home.Bro, let me tell you, this place is like a football heaven! They've got all the cool stuff from the olden days to the latest highlights. The exhibits were boss, showing off the best players, the sickest moments, and how the game has evolved over time. And don't even get me started on the Hall of Fame gallery - that's where the legends live, man!I gotta give props to the Hall of Fame for keeping the history of football alive. They paid tribute to not only the big shots but also the unsung heroes and everyone who's contributed to the sport. It's all about respect, man!And you know what's even better? The place was clean and easy to get around. They had signs everywhere, so I didn't get lost like a noob.

I've never been to any other pro sport hall of fame but it's hard to believe they'd be any better than this. If you're into NFL football in the least way you will love this place. Plan on 3 to 4 hours at a minimum to even scratch the surface of all that's here. They have a tremendous complex in Canton. It's not just the hall there's a stadium ,artificial turf field that you can walk , and many other shopping and dining opportunities in the immediate area. I recommend it to any and all NFL fans. Adult entry is $42 per person but discounts can be had for as little as $10 if you go on Tuesdays which are senior days and your senior of course. Check their website for all the different discount rates that are available that help to make it more affordable. Also they don't advertise it much but this is also the home of the black college football Hall of Fame as well. Many interesting and historical artifacts to be found here.

I haven't been here sometime but it's definitely evolving. It was awesome experience I been coming here since I was kid. Tickets are 40 dollars which isn't bad. Staff is very helpful the sports shop is cool. The history behind this is placed great layout on telling the NFL story. The outside field is good for taking pictures as well as inside the museum. Turn down brightness on phone its glare in most pictures from glass. The shrine headstones are badass. The Cafe inside is convenient. It takes about 2 hrs to get good pictures and see everything. An excellent museum of pro football for the individual or families that are interested in pro football. It is set up with plenty of interesting facts. The first female official, the first African American to officiate the Superbowl, and many other firsts along with arguably the greatest of players, coaches and supporting members along with equipment improvement and time of evolution.

If you are a football fan, this place is worth visiting. What an experience! Bought our tickets in advance online expecting a crowd. Thankfully there was no wait. The gift shop has affordable items. 2 floors of amazing memorabilia. Stayed all day and toured the entire building.

This was a fantastic experience! The flow of the museum is easy to follow and leads you through the history of professional football from the beginning. It includes plenty of old uniforms, leather helmets and other items from the very early days as well as memorabilia from more recent players. The section with the busts of inductees is spacious enough that it's easy to get pictures of your favorite players. There are also some entertaining interactive exhibits and a cool locker room holographic film. Even my football indifferent family enjoyed themselves.

A must see if you like football or enjoy history. It has the best actual Hall of Fame of all them. The busts are really cool. The museum is also well done. You need at least 2 hours if you really appreciate football.

What a cool experience. I was pleasantly surprised at how big this place is and how much there is to see. And I loved the interactive things like the molds of players arms/legs and the play call booth. I'm glad I got to go. And the staff/volunteers are all so pleasant too.

A must see for any Professional Football fan from the ages of 5-95. An amazing collection of NFL memorabilia from the early 1900’s all the way through the current day. A very well put together exhibit at a very reasonably price. U can see the entire exhibit/museum in approximately 4 hours (without rushing & assuming it’s not crowded). I highly recommend getting there at 9 a.m. when they open this way you have the entire day to explore & enjoy it without being rushed. The Bust’s in the Bust room ARE A MUST SEE. TRULY SPECTACULAR!! There are also 2 theaters which are both really cool. One is interactive with holograms & the other is a 8-9 min. movie about the road to the super bowl. If your ever in Ohio or the greater Canton area and are on the fence of visiting, don’t cheat yourself & definitely take the time out to go visit the Pro Football Hall of Fame., you won’t be disappointed.

Loved this place. Great place to learn more about the sport and see some of its past and present.Super helpful staff at every point. Food in the restaurant is good too .The hof store is well stocked and staff really nice and helpful.Pre warning. You will need all day here unless local. We are from the uk and got there about lunchtime and it's not enough time. So we rushed a fair bit toward the end which is a shame.

A fantastic time for any football fan. Lots to see. Give yourself at least 3-4 hours.Tip: Also kids admission is cheaper on Thursdays if you buy when you get there.

The new state-of-the-art Tom Patterson theatre is gorgeous both inside and out. It's been expertly designed to compete with all other world-class theatres. Beautiful! Can't wait for the 70th anniversary season to begin!

Inside the building on a bright sunny day is enchanting. The lobby is large and U shaped giving the audience space. The cafe and dining area on the river side of the building could be from a fairy castle the transition from outside to inside feels so fluid. Stairs come in at the top - if you have trouble stepping down you will want the back row. The stage is in the same shape as the old building - thrust. Seats are much larger, velvet and firm. Bathrooms have a large number of stalls. There are bars on both sides of the lobby but the river side is also setup as a cafe.

An amazing experience in a beautiful, light filled and airy theatre. The common spaces never felt crowded. You can see the river from wherever you are in the lobby. There were an ample number of washrooms and no queues.The theatre space is lovely and seats were velvety and comfortable.Be sure you enjoy the outdoor patio and the adjacent garden.

A magnificent night under the Tom Patterson tent. Can’t wait to go on the tour of the actual theatre next month. Looks so beautiful.

Yet the new facility is expansive, connected to the physical location along the river, and world class in its physical beauty. The sound is extraordinary, the experience reclusive. Hariri could not have done better in a single detail...an extraordinary architectural execution to a difficult transitional objective. Perfect! Bravo! Thank you!

We were here to watch a play during Stratford festival. Unlike the traditional stage to one side and audience seated to the other, this theatre has stage to the centre and audience seating around. This gives a different experience watching play and makes us appreciate the performers for their effort in capturing every corner’s attention

Exquisitely redesigned theatre and the gardens will certainly fill out as time passes. Loved the outdoor spaces and the beautiful textures of golden steel outside - and cream brick and marble inside. I wish the theatre seats were more comfortable but the thrust stage is intimate and powerful.

This park has a big shore line with multiple beaches, bike and boat rentals, tours and sunset cruise. This is one of the best parks to visit and experience it's natural beauty, huge trees that offer shade and oxygen, biking and walking trails along the shore lines, sand beaches and clean water. During summer weekends, the beaches will be busy with lot of people and dirty water along shore lines. I suggest going here early in the day to find the best spot but given the shore line stretches across multiple miles finding a beach spot shouldn't be a problem. While it would be nice to have more water activities within the island, you can find them by traveling few miles outside the park. The tour was great which helped us learn about the history of the place. There is a museum to visit within the island and a tower which you can climb up top. I had a great time and will recommend going here.

So I’m going to lead with my family and I visited Presque Isle State Park as tourists and did not know what to expect. The water was cold, but considering that I’m from Miami, that doesn’t surprise me. The sand was incredibly clean. There was plenty of parking. There are tons of beach entrances along the way and we really enjoyed how well kept this place was. In general, we all had such a great time and recommend this place to anyone who is looking to swim in one of the Great Lakes and families who are looking for something to do with the kids. We loved it.

Beautiful beaches. Great for good excerise such as walking, running, biking, kayaking and swimming in the summer. There is a lot of event going on in the summer as well as selections of food trucks.Bikes and kayaks are available for rent in the park.This park is one of the best spot to watch the sunset and the fireworksPresque Isle is free and there are restroom available.

A MUST see in Erie. Or even if you are close. Miles of beautiful beach. Crystal clear water (in May). And the lighthouse and tour were well worth it. There is also fishing and bike rentals. Just amazing! I can’t say enough good things about this place! I would highly recommend it.

This is a great spot for a day trip if you're in NE Ohio or northern PA. There's so much to do & see. Talk to the locals to find all the best spots. The views of Lake Erie are spectacular & of course the sunsets are beautiful. Sara's restaurant is at the entrance of the Isle & is a great spot to get food on your way in or on your way out. There are restrooms throughout the park & from the ones I went into they were all clean. If you have time I recommend driving the entire Isle & seeing it all. You can rent bikes & there's a path around most of the Isle that accommodates the bikes. A walking/running path is also on the Isle if you want to get a workout in. This is a gem for sure with well maintained beaches & sights to see!

Lots of great things to do here, from trails to boating to flying kites and hanging on the beach. This area has a ton of recreational activities. The beach is nice and clean and even though there was a lot of activity it was not crowded at all. Highly recommend.

Beautiful area. Family fun with boating, biking, walking, picnicking and fishing. There are several beaching to go to. Most people go to the first beach to look for sea glass. The bathrooms are clean and located near the roadways. Very nice place to visit.

Have been here many times in the past during afternoons and sunset time. But this was the first time I visited the place after sunset and it was very pretty. With just a little light from moon and the stars, the sky was a beautiful lit canvas which was embellished with thin rain!!One of the best experiences I have ever had.

During my stay in Erie I ran a sunny 13.1 mile loop around the peninsula & wow is it a gorgeous swath of land. It reminded me of the Homer spit in many ways up in Alaska. The beaches are gorgeous & there is a lot of pristine wilderness to be observed. On my run I saw a lot of wildlife which is always thrilling.

Lovely! Beach 11 has accessibility mats up to the water's edge. Sand was clean. Life guards were present. Easy ups are allowed. Restrooms clean but no showers. Only a foot rinse. Parking is unlined so people didn't park efficiently and created long walks to the beach. Great time on July 4. Beach 10 had barrier rocks and geese, with the bold gull. Picturesque!

Beautiful state park. And they do not charge admission to get in. I totally expected to tho and would have. The lighthouses were neat. We toured Presque Isle Lighthouse. You do have to pay for that. We stopped at kite beach to let our son swim. The houseboats in the bay were so cool. Spent 2 hours here could have spent more!

Stop by the Tom Ridge Enviromental Center first if you are new to Erie and dont know the area. They will tell you a lot about the peninsula before you visit.This is a place to explore for several days. Its around 11 miles all the way around and it has several historical monuments and pleanty of opportunities to enjoy the park without disturbing the wild life too much. Some of the monuments are seasonal. So keep that in mind if you are visiting from warmer areas where stuff is open year round. There are tons of trails were you can walk, jog, bike and you can see downtown Erie on one side on lake Erie on the other. Looks more like an ocean that a lake to me. Yes... you will see some folks surfing out there.

Highly recommend visiting here for a small getaway or even just for the day. It is a family oriented place, everyone is friendly, and staff is very cautious. Just like any other theme type park, food and drink prices are slightly higher than average, however they weren't outrageous. There is something to do for everyone, from the baby splash pad to the 21 and older hot tub oasis. It feels safe within the facility and kids can enjoy themselves without parents being extremely concerned at all times. You must be wearing a bracelet to enter the facility for any reason and staff seems to keep a very close eye out for that. We had a blast and have already begun planning our next weekend getaway. There is a great arcade, and a restaurant right on site, you can also play a game of bowling if you are done with the water for the day. There is truly something for everyone.

The kids had a blast but there wasn't really too much going on for the adults. There's a bar in the water park but Everything is super expensive. We paid $9 just for one weak drink. Food is expensive as well we paid $16 just for two chicken fingers some french fries and a non refillable soda. The chlorine smell is very strong and it was super crowded. All of the hotels are connected to the water park so you do not have to go outside to get to it but if you do not get the hotel that the water park is actually in it is a crazy long walk.I probably won't go back but I do recommend giving it a try though if you have the money for it. It was definitely a great experience. It's definitely great if you have kids under the age of 15 and good for some of the older kids. Just keep in mind that the hotel rooms aren't cheap as the passes are included in the purchase of your room and online it says four passes per room but that is not accurate. We purchased two rooms both the same size with the same amount of beds and one room came with 4 passes and the other room only came with 3.There's an arcade, ice cream shop, and gift shop upstairs from the water park. Gift shop does not carry anything over a size XL. There's also locker rentals upstairs for the lockers at the water park.

Nice indoor park. Does get busy but not too bad. It’s not huge but enough to keep everybody for the day.Water temperature was okay. Room temperature could be a little warmer during winter season.Check in was simple.Large lockers are $22 per day. Smaller ones are $16. Double check your locker. Mine did not lock even when the door closes and turns red for in used. I found out at the end of my stay. There are tables throughout that you can place your stuff on if you don’t want to rent a locker.Lifeguards everywhere and they do a great job making sure everyone is safe.Overall, great experience.

Went for a quick getaway, drove 4 hours from Toronto and it did not disappoint. We had a few issues getting the ticket online/thru the phone and if we hadn’t insisted calling to get a receipt we might have stressed out when we got there, but all turned all an awesome experience at the end. Lots of fun for the whole family!!

Splash Lagoon was a fun experience for our family. We were visiting from Texas, as we have family in Erie. There is plenty of parking and we were assisted immediately at the front desk. Our 5 year old was excited to get to all the attractions but decidedly was a bit nervous at first.He decided to stick with the lazy river and the new Tree House. He loved the Typhoon Twister (red/blue) slide and went down it a ton. We next tried out the wave pool and it was nice they have life vests for use. He can swim but it was nice to have the added safety. The surf machine was a favorite of my husband's-- it's so nice that everything is included and you aren't charged extra for any of the water attractions.Our son finally decided to try the bigger slides and was thrilled with the Big Kahuna and Cyclone...although I think his favorite ended up being the Python Plunge. We spent a few hours here and it wasn't too crowded--we never waited more than a few minutes for a slide. The only downside is the lockers--$16 felt a little steep for the smallest size, the bigger is $22. I'm sure for a longer day or stuff that needs secured it's fine but we just chose to move our towels and sandals around with us. Overall though it was a great experience and we'd come back again in a heartbeat!

It is the Disney land of Erie, PA! The boys and I had a wonderful time. The best way to experience it is to book at least one night stay at one of their connected hotels. This way one can easily change between swimming and warm/dry clothes through each day, and avoids having to lug around one's valuables. It was nice to be able to take a little break from the water, and play at the arcade area. So much fun! It was like a mini vacation....as one of my boys described. We stayed at the Hawthorn Suites. The staff there were wonderful and were very accommodating to our needs. Thank you, Heather, Michelle, Isheka, and Esteban!

Our visit included with our hotel stay for our daughters cheer competition. A lot of fun. Was really busy during our visit bit was still enjoyable. Definitely recommend wearing some water shoes. Kind of small changing room so I changed in the showers. But I blame that on the amount of visitors during a cheer competition weekend. All in all, fun for the whole family and we will be back again someday.

Brought my 3 kids- 6,9,11 for a two day trip. We spent all day Saturday and Sunday here and it was awesome!! Perfect temperatures indoors and water. If you get there right at opening or stay right till close the lines are shortest. That being said, this weekend the lines were very reasonable in my opinion! The kids can’t wait to make this an annual trip! Every lifeguard we encountered was great! They were all so good with the kids! There weren’t any food options that my kids would eat, so we did bring food, but went to the car to eat it. The ropes course was a blast too! Definitely enough to keep the kids busy and happy for two days! Staying at the holiday inn was perfect as well! Quick walk between the two!

Kids loved it. Lifeguards were very alert and on top of it. No slimy floors on pool bottoms. There are activities/pools to accommodate all ages from toddler to adult.If I had to mention a couple cons: restrooms/change rooms could use an update. Music was unnecessary and loud (you couldn't hear the music anyway due to the sound of water/splashing, and kids screaming in the background. Loud music was just added noise.)

Awesome place for the kiddos. Really nice that the entire place is inside. It's also very convenient that there is direct hotel and restaurant access.However, that's about as good as it got. 3 main attractions, 1 set of stairs. That is how the entire place is set up. It's hard to know where to go, or who's going where. The worst part- none of the staff really cares or pays attention or implements the rules, which is obviously very unsafe for the kids. They have no way to communicate with each other, other than to blow a whistle and yell.The light system indicating the next person could go clearly wasn't working for 2 days, yet we continued to waste time sitting at ride after ride because the workers were talking to each other and not paying attention to the riders.Multiple times we witnessed the attendants at the surf ride paying absolutely no attention while people were on the board, waiting for direction.The whole place could absolutely use a face lift.Overall, the kids enjoyed themselves; the adults TRIED to enjoy the kids enjoying themselves, but were too busy worrying.

We had a wonderful experience, this park has activity for all ages. we all enjoyed ourselves a lot. we'll definitely come back. i suggest correcting the time to start the park because they say they open at 11:00, but at 10:00, it was open. i lost an hour of fun. Courtyard hotel it’s an amazing place too. We love it.

For the people leaving bad reviews because of the connecting hotels, those hotels have nothing to do with Splash Lagoon and while they are connected, they are separate and no the waterpark is not included unless you buy a hotel and waterpark package off the Splash Lagoon Website which compared to places like Kalahari, this is an amazing deal. We booked a non connected and it was perfect. There are a couple non connected hotels like the Marriott we stayed in that were immaculate and you could see them from the parking lot, less than a minute drive!Highly recommend. Splash Lagoon has something for everyone from infants to adults (which is important because we have a 6 month old, 12 year old, and 17 year old). Water was comfortable and restrooms, dining area and waterpark area are clean and maintained by staff in a timely manner. Has everything a big name park like Kalahari has but is much more affordable. There was also plenty of seating in all areas of the park and dining areas so there was plenty of room and you weren’t on top of others or without a seat (Kalahari for example runs out of seating pretty early). Great location with tons of hotel, dining and shopping options within a minutes drive or walk. Splash has a bar and a quick service restaurant/concession area and there is a Quaker Steak and Lube attached to the building. We booked a package with Courtyard By Marriott across the street after reading tons of bad reviews for dirty worn out rooms and tons of noise at the connecting hotels. Our hotel was less than a minute drive. Hotel was immaculately clean and maintained, and it was quiet and comfortable. It even had its own heated pool, toddler heated pool, hot tub, sauna and gym so the kids could swim if they wanted even after waterpark close. I highly recommend booking the package on Splash Lagoon bundled with the Marriott. We splurged for a cabana (very fair price) for our second day which is out of budget at places like Kalahari. It was amazing to have a place to relax, let the baby nap, and have a home base to store our stuff and meet up with each other. It came with towels, snacks, water, a fridge, souvenir cup with $0.99 cent refills, arcade cards, TV and our own dining table. It was extremely private and comfortable. Staff were on top of everything and very friendly and eager to help with anything a guest needed. We will definitely be back.

Hands down the BEST PLACE!! I'm a huuuuge fan of it being indoors!! After having LYME'S I can't handle the sun!! The price for the rooms the price of entrance the foods in the hotels... Amazing! I've been going there for 12yrs now and not even the kids are sick of it yet lol. We've stayed at every hotel attached to Splash Lagoon. And NONE were a disappointment!!

We took the kids (8 and 9) here for NYE and we all had a blast. The water park is clean, spacious, lots of fun things for everyone to do including lots of slides, the lazy river, hot tubs and the wave pool. The lifeguards were on it...great job! The prices are fair for a full day of fun and I feel comfortable and safe letting the kids run and find their favorite slides to play on and not have to be stuck together or with us the entire time, they can let loose and just have fun. The kids loved it so much that we're going back in the spring for their birthdays. Not sure who is more excited, the kids or us parents!

Did the Hotel over- night stay for my daughter s birthday. We bought the birthday cake/pizza add on. I was surprised how delicious the cake was !The hotel room was a little dated- but we were there to swim and sleep.The room was VERY close to the pool it was great !Kids loved the hot tub , wave pool and kiddie water slide the best !Some lifeguards were very attentive and great- others looked like they were falling asleep- they were switched ALOT.

It's worthwhile to visit this place. You can spend 2-3 hours here depending on how interested you are in aircraft and Canadian aeronautics history. Kids can also have some fun as they get to sit in the co*ckpit of real fighter planes and if you are 12 and above they have a flight simulator as well.

Girlfriend took me here for a visit. It was a great experience overall. It's beautiful and a true staple of real world history. The volunteer guides are also great and provide you with a great deal of knowledge and expertise. The older gentleman, Mr. Alex, in particular was great and really enthusiastic to share his knowledge of the place and the history attached to it. They even let you sit on some of the planes and when the weather is good, you can fly in them.

Nice museum a bit smaller than expected. The gift shop is pretty good, there’s a runway cafe you can eat and if you’re lucky you may get to see planes taking off / landing. The key part of the museum is you get to sit in the co*ckpit of about 3 planes… that’s pretty cool.

This has been the most amazing experience I’ve ever been to in Canada. Every single person that works there interacted with nothing with positivity and love and care about the place and also educated. I won hundred percent recommend this place but also to bring your kids to teach them.Thank you for an amazing tour and I cannot wait to go back again.

This place is always fun. Lots of classic planes and the staff are friendly and always willing to provide information. We have never done it, but they also offer paid flights on classic aircraft which would be awesome. There is a good selection of classic warplanes and training aircraft. Well curated with lots of info on displays. The Lancaster is so impressive up close.

This is one of the absolute best things to do in Hamilton. It's a fascinating look at the aviation technologies and hardware throughout the RCAF history, and to be able to get a good look and information about the planes.The staff is VERY knowledgeble and also very friendly. You can book flights on some of the historic planes, but we chose not to. Also on dry days there are some other planes outside the building, we missed out as we were visiting during a downpour.A great place to take kids too.

Probably one of my favourite places to visit; I go often alone just cause I’m fascinated. Last time; they had vintage wheels and wings, which was super fun! Definitely recommend checking this place out; there’s so much to see at the museum as well!

Excellent! We were met at the entrance by Mr. Tony Houghton, a volunteer at the Museum who guided us around the Museum for a couple of hours. He was extremely professional, knowledgeable and helpful. The boys, aged 4 and 8, enjoyed his attention to take them on a private tour of numerous planes where they could sit in the co*ckpits; and, he provided them with interesting and fun facts about the planes. We also enjoyed our lunch at the Museum’s Runway Cafe. The Museum is well-kept, the volunteer staff is courteous and the historic planes a must-see! We recommend this as a great place to bring kids of all ages, especially on a rainy day.

The exhibits are excellent, so much history, and so many great personal stories. A good experience for any age. Our kid would love to provide his review on his amazing experience on Saturday , Feb 17 ( over the Family Day Weekend ) at the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum .I visited Canadian Warplane Heritage museum during the Family Day weekend in 2024. The place was busy and lots of families were visiting. They had lots of things to do and a ton of planes . The gift shop was near the entrance and was very big . There was quite a few build up airplane models to choose from . I picked an F-119 model. There was an astronaut session followed by autograph line up .The various country flags displayed at this centre denoted the countries participated in receiving training in flying.I came across a model of a plane showcasing how and where it carry’s its missiles on the plane. Also, I got a chance to hop onto a passenger plane which on warmer weathers takes flight. I saw the co*ckpit . It had loads of navigation related set ups . This plane takes a round of Niagara Falls at 35,000 ft height .There was also a giant inflatable planetarium . It took me on a ride to the moon also explains how the craters are formed and every few million years lava arises from inside of the moon .Overall the experience was really good . The only issue was parking was full and we parked in the over flow parking area.The staff were very nice and explained how the planes worked . Kuddos to the team for organizing such an exciting experience .If you are 12 years and above you could also take part - Flyzone at Canadian Warplane Heritage museum . I look forward to this next year as well !!

It’s a lovely museum. I would say for plane enthusiasts and those interested in the history of Canada’s war efforts, this place is amazing. The staff are doing a great job restoring the old planes and the guides are very knowledgeable. For the average person it’s worth a visit.

This place is next level. It went beyond expectations. Service was so good everyone was so polite and welcoming.It has a great history pilot was so experienced they explained everything in detail.My son enjoyed this place very much he use to point aeroplanes in sky, he was excited to sit in one.Overall we had a great family time together here.In summer we are going for a ride in one of the plains.Enjoy your visit.

The Canadian Warplanes Heritage museum is a fantastic place to go to. Seeing these vintage aircraft on display is amazing. The hangar is full of Canadian military aviation history that everyone should go and see. The staff and volunteers are so friendly and have lots of stories about the history of these aircraft. The hangar is very clean and you can even go for a ride in one of their vintage aircraft.You can jump into the pilot seat of some display aircraft, look at the avionics instruments, learn about aircraft technology, like engines/ ejection seats/ armament, and see how museum staff and volunteers are restoring these vintage aircraft back into an airworthy condition.You may like seeing the beautiful art pinups girls or wacky characters that was painted on the aircraft's nose to boost morale of airmen and airwomen who served in Canada's armed forces.I loved going here and you will too. If you like my reviews, videos or photos let your thumb soar high in the sky.

A truly outstanding area, so unique and rich with history. I definitely recommend this place.Big thanks to Rick and the Scottish gentleman (sorry, I didn’t get his name) who educated me on the history on the lancaster plane and many others. Amazing.

Amazing museum, a must visit! And they are extremely sweet and helpful. They give u ana amazing tour and tell h stories of how the planes went through the war and were rebuilt. The cafe too is really nice good portions very wel priced. Lastly you also get to sit in 3 of the planes. It’s a very cool experience! And they have a flight simulator too. Must go with kids.

You will enjoy your time here if you like airplanes and history. You will learn a lot from these airplanes. Some are still air worthy and some are just for display. You can also go up to the co*ckpit of certain airplanes. If you really like to experience flying with these vintage airplanes, you can buy a flight from 20-60 minutes depending on the aircraft. Check their website for details. Don't forget to check their gift shop on your way out.

My son and I visited in June 2023 and absolutely loved it! Great staff and a beautiful collection of aircraft inside and outside. Well stocked gift shop. Going again soon! I'm a ham but nobody was in the radio room, maybe next time!

My scout group spent the night during the museum’s Night-Op event and had a blast. Well restored and maintained war planes; knowledgeable and passionate volunteers and staff made the visit fun and educational. Plenty of free parking.

So I came in looking to get a certain pair of shoes, and while there was only one other customer in the store and four associates, I wasn’t approached once for help. The other three cashiers were more interested in chatting and dancing along to the music.

I had a terrible experience here on January 8th. The shoes I bought were advertised on sale at a specific price and even had the tag with the price on them, but when I went to check out, the cashier cut off the tag with the sale price and I got charged $20 more. When I told the girl cashing me out she said that they didn’t have time to change the tags on the sale items at all that day but it was already 4pm in the day, I’m sure they could’ve had time to change it or at least honor the price on the shoe. Instead she said there’s nothing she can do and couldn’t give me the show for that price.

Bought a pair of shoes and got charged about $20 extra because they decided to put the shoe in the wrong box and overcharge me for it. I only realized this when I went to exchange the size.

I wanted to buy a shoe for my girl but the attendant is not very helpful. She made me feel like im disturbing her several times when I asked for a size. I’m a salesman, too. It saddens me whenever I witness a salesperson in the store failing to perform their duties effectively. We didn't make a purchase before leaving the store because she did not attend us properly, which amounts to a missed sales opportunity. I come in, buy some boots..went home, only to realise i received a size larger ..not only the wrong size..but the wrong boot too ..they didn't fit, they were too big, bring them back to store.. and what does manager Azra say? They are WORN! CANT RETURN, THERES MUD ON THEM. How can they be worn when they never fit? Also, can someone please show me the mud?!?! Ive been shopping here for the last 5 years, buying everything from sneakers to boots, even the wife has bought from here so many times. Never had a problem before. My challenge remains, find the mud! I insisted so many times that they were not worn but she didn't want to listen. All this really goes to show me is that they sold me shoes that had been worn before.

Great shoe selection for men, women and kids. The staff here are very friendly and helpful. I ordered a shoe from them that they didn't have in store and there was a big mix up. When I came into the store to solve it, associates Tashèe and Alex went above and beyond to come up with a solution and I left satisfied.

My daughter and I walked into 5 or 6 different shoe stores on a quiet Tuesday morning in Square One. Not a single employee in any of those stores asked if we needed help finding anything and in one case he couldn’t be bothered to look up from his phone. Not until we walked into Journeys and were greeted by Ali. She was kind and helpful and steered us to a shoe that we would never have looked at. She is definitely a kind soul and a great employee! I would shop here again based on the service alone. Thanks Ali!

Really great selectin of shoes! If you can't find what you're looking for at Foot Locker, it's probably here with rare limited selections! They staff here are all very nice and friendly. They give quite good recommendations based on what your desires are and are fairly knowledgeable of the brand/inventory they own. Well organized with nice seating arrangement as well.
