This 4-day workshop introduces the fundamentals of drawing realistically. In this class you will learn a wide variety of drawing techniques including shape, values and shading, negative space, and perspective.
About this course: Chelsea has been teaching a modified version of this class for 6 years at Adrian College, The University of Toledo, and Owens Community College. Most students come into her class not very confident in their drawing skills, and leave amazed at how much their drawing skills have improved. This workshop is a great overview of the many styles and types of drawing common in contemporary art.

11x14" Drawing Pad
11x14” Newsprint Pad
Graphite Pencils HB, 2B, 4B, 6B
Kneaded Eraser
White Mars Eraser
Retractable Eraser
Charcoal Pencils HB, 2B, 4B, 6B
1-2 Colored Pencils + 1-2 sheets Colored Drawing Paper (wait to purchase until start of class)
Personal Pencil Sharpener
Portfolio (Optional but recommended)

Cancellation Policy: We will refund 50% for any cancellation made at least eight days before the class. After 8 days, we are unable to provide refunds for any reason, including illness. If you cannot attend after registration, you are welcome to gift your tuition to a friend at no charge. We do not transfer tuition from one class to another.
