They sell all types of clothing, shoes, dresses, and accessories at highly-discounted prices.

Limited sizing of their sexy gowns

Windsor has a selection of 310 prom dresses in all colors and styles. Most designs have 2-7 different colors they come in, adding more variety to the inventory. Every prom dress sold by Windsor could definitely be summed up with the word "sexy" . Most of them are either short, low cut, have long slits, and are very form-fitting. As beautiful as they are, not everyone will feel comfortable in the prom dresses here. They also have limited sizes ranging from XS to XL, so unfortunately they don't leave any options for plus-sized customers.

Pricing is too good to be true

We imagine that one of the biggest draws for most customers to shop for prom dresses at Windsor is their pricing. Most of the dress designs look like they would cost a few hundred dollars at the very least, but instead they are priced from $10 on sale to $156. The prices seem too good to be true, and according to customer reviews, that's exactly the case. Most people claim that although they love the look of the outfits they receive from Windsor, sometimes they rip or break after one wear because the quality is so low.

Product reviews

We all appreciate when customers are able to leave reviews and photos of themselves in the merchandise on a retailer's website and Windsor allows you to do this. As far as we can tell, the reviews are unfiltered and most of them have pages and pages of feedback, with almost all of it being positive. This contradicts other reviews of the store we've seen online, but we hope that people are as satisfied with the prom dresses here as it seems.

The selection of prom dresses at Boohoo isn't very impressive. In total there are 144 items to choose from, but we noticed right away that many dresses categorized for prom didn't appear to be formal enough for the occasion. Some of them look like they'd be great for a nice picnic lunch or a day at church, so if you want formal dresses, your selection will be even less than 144 items.

Helpful product descriptions

You could easily look through all of the prom dress inventory within a matter of minutes at Boohoo, but if you have an idea of what you are looking for, you can easily filter by size (0 - 18), style, color, price, fit, or occasion. Once you find a dress you like, the product description tells you what size the model is wearing, the different colors the style comes in, item availability, how to care for the dress, and relevant style notes. Unfortunately, there are no customer reviews on items, so you won't have that advantage when buying from Boohoo.

Cheap dresses

Boohoo's inventory of prom dresses are about as inexpensive as you can find. At the time of this review, Boohoo was advertising that they were selling everything for 50% off. This made most dresses anywhere from $7 to $100. Whether the dresses are on sale or not, the dresses could still be considered cheap since they're typically priced around $50. In addition, you'll get free shipping if you spend over $50 on your order and save 10% if you subscribe to Boohoo's newsletter.

You'll have 28 days to return any items from your order to Boohoo if needed. Whether the color isn't as you hoped, the prom dress doesn't fit quite right, or you are wanting a different style, you can get a full refund via your original payment method.

High praises for customer service

Boohoo is unrated by the Better Business Bureau, but they have over 170,000 customer reviews online. We noticed that a lot of people reported having issues with their order either coming damaged, missing items, or taking a long time to ship. Many of the reviews are positive because they were able to work with customer service to quickly resolve the issues. The amount of reported problems seems slightly concerning, but it appears the company works hard to rectify problems that cause customers to be upset with their purchases.

Low prices may mean low quality

Easy to browse the small inventory of dresses

You can browse all of Camille La Vie's dresses and find the style you like, which won't take too long since they only have about 140 dresses here. Your other option is to quickly narrow down your choices by viewing their newest dresses, long dresses, short, mermaid, ballgown, and high-low dresses. All dresses range from sizes 0-20 and a helpful size chart is included on the website to help ensure you order the perfect fit. However, we noticed that many dresses only have a couple of sizes available, so just because you find a dress you love here doesn't mean they will have one that fits you, unfortunately.

Weak dress descriptions

We noticed that the dress descriptions on Camille La Vie are not as comprehensive as we would like to see. They give a brief overview of the dress details, but no customer reviews are available, no washing instructions, and they don't tell you how tall the model is and what size of dress she is wearing. When buying an expensive dress, you want all the information you can get before buying, but Camille La Vie doesn't do a good job of providing that.

Limited exchanges and no refunds

The biggest downside to Camille La Vie is that if you don't end up ordering the perfect fit, you can't return your prom dress. All of their merchandise is final sale; however, they do allow a one-time exchange within 14 days of delivery as a courtesy if stock is available. It's definitely safer to double- and triple-check your measurements before ordering from Camille La Vie than to have to try to exchange your dress or get stuck with something you can't use.

Expect to pay at least $200

The cost of prom dresses at Camille La Vie ranges from $139 to $469. The majority of dresses are over $200 and we didn't find any of them on sale, so you aren't going to find any great deals here. On the bright side, you do get free shipping on any order if you live in the US. Since the prom dresses aren't made to order, you'll receive them in 5-10 days with ground shipping.

Can't highly recommend them

There aren't a ton of reviews from customers about shopping at Camille La Vie, but the few we found were generally positive. The Better Business Bureau gives them an "A+" rating. However, the reason we haven't ranked them very high is due to their slim inventory and weak variety of sizes, non-returnable merchandise policy, and bare-bones product descriptions. There are retailers with a better selection of prom dresses out there that give you a more comfortable shopping experience, so we recommend trying one of those first.

Mixed reviews, bad BBB rating

Interestingly, customer reviews of Ever Pretty are 50/50, meaning about half are great and the other half are terrible. It's confusing to decide whether or not this is a reliable retailer, but their "F" rating from the Better Business Bureau (BBB) convinced us this isn't the best place to shop online for prom dresses. Although some people praise Ever Pretty's customer service and are happy with their dresses, others say they never got a refund after returning items that didn't fit, some were charged major restocking fees, and some couldn't reach customer service to initiate a return at all.

This leaves customers a pretty good variety of gowns to choose from. You can sort them by price, color, type, silhouette, hemline, neckline, sleeve length, fabric, and embellishment.

Comparable pricing

Like many other online stores, Milanoo offers a discount if you sign up for their email list: you'll get $30 off your next purchase and get free shipping if you spend over $109. All of the prom dresses shown on Milanoo's website appear to be on sale. They range from $43 to $459. Most dresses fall into the $100 - $150 range, which seems comparable to other retailers. Most dress sizes range from 4-16.

Expect slower shipping

Since Milanoo is based out of China, you should expect it to take a while to receive your prom dress from this retailer. Their products usually say they will take 7-10 days to process and then another 4-8 days for shipping. If you aren't spending $109 on your order, shipping will be at least another $20 and according to many reports, you'll usually end up waiting a lot longer for your items to arrive than anticipated, even if you pay for rush shipping.

If you're unsatisfied with the prom dress (which is definitely a possibility considering the amount of customer reviews about low quality), you can submit a return application within 15 days and send back your dress for a refund as long as it is in new, unused condition, minus your cost for return shipping.

Hilariously hideous

Milanoo does not have a rating from the Better Business Bureau. What they do have are lots of customer complaints online that claim this is a poorly-run company that sends dresses that look nothing like the pictures online, makes it difficult to return items, sells low-quality merchandise, and is guilty of false advertising. One review sums it up by saying, "I knew that I would not receive super good quality, but the dress was so hideous that I cannot even stop laughing." Maybe you need some comedic relief in your life, but not at the expense of a ruined prom dress and wasted money. Buying from Milanoo is not your best bet!
